Whilst i think the colonel could do with some better manners i only recall him being a bs police. Not big noting himself. Can you honestly recall when he's started any discussion big noting himself?
Even his source on danger he was quite happy to say could be wrong as opposed to many who were banging on about believing their sources and or their own opinion being good enough to state as fact.
Hes just, to many tastes, OTT in tearing down someone he sees as wrong. This is incredibly different to bignoting himself IMO.
Any bs you care to dig up he's posted? I find him close to the least bs person on here. I think many are blinded by being belittled - which i agree is not a nice feeling.
How many buckets of fried Chicken did that post earn you.......

Buckets are so 1990's. It's a zinger burger now or nothing.
I prefer the wicked wings over the traditional fried chicken.

Also tend to think the KFC in Adelaide is the best in the world. Certainly better than any region of France, Spain, Italy and in particular California...........

LOL.....being serious, KFC in America is vile.

It's bordering on being uneatable. No burgers, no zingers and no wicked wings. Just dried up bit of chicken.

That could go for any fast food in America I found.

I love KFC, but can't eat it because every time I've done so I've felt like chucking up after. It's all the grease or something. My stomach doesn't like it.

Best fast food places in the states is In and Out Burger.

McDonalds, Burger King (hunger jacks), KFC - avoid them all.

Bigfella its rare I disagree with you - but on this occasion I disagree. Be-littling or 'tearing someone down', IMO is usually done to big-note yourself, make yourself look and feel better (usually publically) when you probably lack confidence in your own position. Sanders can decide whether or the cap fits - I'm not judging there.

The bottom line is this sort of constant unpleasant be-littilng of other posters drives other posters away and discourages them from participating in the conversation. And given that diverse, lively discussion is the life-blood of online forums maybe its time that a few posters here lift their game in this respect and recognise that we can all learn from diverse opinions. Just my thoughts and others are welcome to disagree. Oh and Happy Christmas BTW. :)

You're having a laugh aren't you?

Why don't you go back to the start, and see what you think.

I have to say, the story about filling a grange bottle with cheap red and fooling a wine snob DID sound like bullshit. ;)
Well as amazingly unbelievably incredible as it may sound. it did actually occur, probably not for the first time in world history either. A wine snob is not the same as a wine expert. The only bullshit here is some of the responses.

I've heard people doing that as well. Not to oust a wine snob to to see if some could simply tell the difference between pricy and cheap wine.

That's your gall bladder speaking.

It's a common theme for some wine clubs.

Rank 'blind' wines, guess their variety & approximate vintage.

Not wine expert at all but I've heard some people only buy blind skins (is that the correct term - without a label) for that reason.

Yea, probably. I think the last time I had KFC was in high school, so that would have been about 12-13 years ago.

I have not had an alcoholic drink for that long but **** me, I can not go a week without KFC.

Yep, went there on Sunset Blvd I think it was. Great burger. Went to a LA Kings game, got hammered at a bar and then went to In N Out. Great way to spend an evening.

We went to the ESPN zone across the street from Staples. That was very good.

It's gone now, I think they have a wolf gang puck or some fancy shit like thst now.

If we want to keep this board healthy, then there is a minimum level of behavior needed to encourage posters to participate without fear of being attacked.

Regular belittling of posters has stopped some good posters from visiting our board as they once did. There is really no benefit from this behaviour except stroking ones ego. Do we really want to lose posters for this reason?

The beauty of forums are posters have different opinions. Opinions are not necessarily right or wrong - something which is lost on some. The bigfooty rules requires posters to be respectful... But some clearly break this on regular occasions.

Sanders has been wrong on many occasions - but who hasn't as we are nearly all in that boat at some stage! The difference is when he has been caught out, he attacks the other poster relentlessly rather than just admitting he got it wrong.

I have watched numerous times the self appointed bullshit police has called out another poster who has made a legitimate post. He plays a game of bluff - it can't possibly be true, when in fact it has been. The posters who regularly bullshit catch themselves out most of the time - it doesn't need someone to belittle then in public.
