How much would their rider be but? I'm thinking in excess of $200,000.

Could not imagine they could fly anything but first class or watch to stay in some crappy motel chain.

Unless Public Enemy is in Adelaide - they would not be cheap.

Yeah that figure is pretty low. Especially when I consider how much Kevin Sheedy charged to speak at an event my wife helped plan.

What happened to ports post concerts? They were a hit weren't they?

Can't believe they thought charging more for the post game entertainment than the game was ever going to work (although we are talking about a club who charges members to watch internal trials), especially after our home games, although their supporters tried pretty hard to deny Port had anything to do with it, despite them getting a big discount and Koch taking all the credit.

I wonder who the big international act they had lined up for our game was?

Port been to one of our later home games to see how it should be done?

No one is flying to Adelaide from any where other than Australia to collect $20,000 - $30,000 split 5(?) ways plus managers, booking agents, and whatever else. Would cost a lot more.
That's the appearance fee, what the artists would make from the performance clean.

A promoter pays that and covers all other costs. To bring someone like PE out would be hundreds of thousands on its own.

Don't know why you'd bother with PE or Chemical Brothers. They're hardly household names these days and most casual supporters won't really care?

I'm guessing if anything it's something like hilltop hoods.

wait. I've always seen a page turner as something you're reading and can't wait to turn the page because of it's interest or excitement. I'm guessing you use 'page turner' as something you can't wait to turn the page to get rid of? I guess it works either way, but yes, just get on with it - whack them HARD and do it soon!
I've heard the term 'page turner' over the years and it's always been in reference to books you can't stop reading.

Page-turner is good for books, bad for newspapers.

George Costanza reading newspaper: When are they going to learn that any story about China is an instant page-turner?

Essendon shit is just a page turner

I don't give a ****. Whack them and lets get on with it. Its been 2 ******* years

And it took how long to get Lance Armstong? Try over 7 years. This is still just the start of the Essendon issues. The MBL stuff took a number of years as well and they are not WADA signatories with vastly different powers. These style of cases with a number of different athletes involved take a long time to find all the information before it can be taken to the Tribunal stage.

If the players are adjudged guilty by the tribunal there is still a process of them being allowed to appeal the verdict. So there is more time allocated.

Then there will likely be more 'support people' being looked at, and if Joe Daniher is one of those players who was on the list of players who received 'supplements' then that might have occurred while he was minor when he was at Essendon but not on the list yet (was given permission to train at Essendon prior to being drafted by the AFL). There's another problem for Essendon. A very big one. This could be criminal proceedings because he was a minor.

I'm interested in it, and I'm not alone. The HTB here is generating a lot of page clicks for Chief so I think he would be very happy for it to continue. :D

Gotta lol at the Port flogs on their board scoffing at the thought of INXS playing Never Tear Us Apart at a game that they quote "should have nothing to do with it".

Newsflash guys - it's their freaking song.

They need some luck for that to happen. One is dead and another one has lost his finger.

So the players from 2012 aren't playing in the nab cup, so they don't get outed. What happens when the real season comes along, are they standing out then as-well? Seems unfair for the players who didn't partake.

Apparently it is their choice to stand out with their 'mates'. The privacy concerns only seem to be for those still at Essendon though. Any who have left the club, there is no outrage from Essendon when they are named.

Lol. That's actually really funny. They are the most arrogant, deluded supporters in Australia. And its not just the ferals. I was speaking to a Doctor the other day and he started spewing the old cliches....."exist....never give in ....1870"....The only suppirterbase on Bfooty that has their established date as part of their forum title ...that in itself speaks volumes.

Divvy this shi......... oh wait it's not the bay :$

That's like me trying to troll you by posting a picture of the Crows crowd from 2014 and pointing out that you have "We're ready to fly... so get on board", "Unleash 2015", and your 19th Man stuff. You're talking about membership slogans from two different years, and what has become a highly successful match day experience slogan.

You do realise that when you start losing again that your match day experience will be a linear relationship?

Ie. Start losing as you did back in 2012 and your supporters will cringe at your match day experience.

Took my son shopping yesterday for his first pair of footy boots and guernsey (crows home). Ashamed to admit it hut I also purchased the new away guernsey for him. Its looks woeful on a grown man but looks great on kids.

Maybe one day we'll have to borrow your canned cheering track to play over the loudspeakers ;)
