Hello all

We see a lot of predictions and educated guesses in each different thread we have so I thought here would be a good place to say them all, come back next year and go "I told you so" in smug self satisfaction. Please try and keep it Sydney related but I don't really see a reason why not to go to the wider AFL world.

I'll start:
- Luke Parker will either win the Brownlow or get tagged for a lot of the year and just barely make the top 10 in the B&F
- Mitchell will start round 1
- Heeny to debut after the bye
- Reid will be dropped before going to the back half
- By the end of the year we will have 2 ruckmen in the side not including Tippett/Reid

- We'll probably start the first month of the season losing a few games and the board going into meltdown.
- Mitchell, Heeney wont play a senior game outside of injury.
- Shaw will finish his career in the NEAFL.
- Goodes wont play out the season and be replaced by Rose.
- Reid will be persisted with the same role....
- Grundy will go via FA prompting articles that its Buddy fault.
- By the end of 2015 we will have 2 genuine ruckman/Tippett will be plonked in the goal square fulltime.
- We will finish top 2.
- Franklin and Tippett will play 20+ games and kick 150 goals combined.

-Second year blues for Lloyd and Cunningham
-Mitchell to play the year
-Zak Jones to make a name for himself
-Reid will (to my discontent) play the same role
-Shaw to be cooked by middle of year
-Hanners will have an outstanding year
-Swans will come out firing first round

- Shaw won't be in the team by the finals
- Goodes will have a surprisingly good season, he will look better than he did in 2014
- Adding Mitchell into the midfield will improve our clearances quite a bit
- Heeney will get his first opportunity around 6 or 7 rounds in
- Parker to have his best year yet
- Hannebery will improve on his 2014 form
- Longmire will still have no clue what to do with Reid
- Either Jones or B.Jack will be a starting 22 player by the end of the year

- The Swans will lose to Hawthorn
- Mitchell will again prove the decision to leave him out was ridiculous, and be 2nd in the club for clearances
- Newman will show up a lot of younger players in the NEAFL and deserve senior selection, which he may or may not get
- Tippett's pay per goal will drop beneath $20,000 for the first time since joining
- There will be another statement from one of the leadership group after a weak performance talking about how it was un-Swans-like and will never happen again
- Pyke will continue to be excellent
- McVeigh's pointing will reach the elite tier, however Goodes' will drop off
- Longmire will not drop Jetta
- Harrison Marsh is not and never will be the next Josh Kennedy
- Towers will play most of the year
- Heeney will very quickly show himself better than Lloyd
- Franklin will come 2nd in the Coleman despite missing games
- Reid will run around aimlessly and be referred to as a crucial swingman
- Tanya Paolucci will not ask a single cutting or insightful question, but will do a huge amount of nodding

Heeney and Mitchell will play R1 and be cemented by the break

Shaw wont last long until Jones replaces him.

Parker will have to start learning to cope with a tag and wont have as good year as 2014

Bombs away will stay.

Allir will debut and be better than expected

There will be a few running around in the 2s not happy

Some will be on the Hewett ban wagon by the end of 2015

Ted will drop off

Newmans a gem

Rohan will take off after a full pre season

Tippett wont miss a game thru injury
Mitchell to be compared to joel selwood
Grundy wont have one clanger all season
Jetta to return to 2012 form
Towers to become the new isaac smith
Buddy becomes first forward to win brownlow since plugger
Bedford posts positively about mcveigh
And obviously we win gf

- We will win the premiership.
- We will win the premiership.

- We will win the premiership.

Grundy will go via free agency
Jetta will be traded at year end and we won't get any offers better than something in the 40's
Harry Marsh will get a game, a token game before being delisted
Shaw will retire mid year
Goodes will play regardless of form but it'll be sad to see it how age had caught up to him
Mitchell will play all season
Heeney from about week 5 onwards
Mitchell will cop the 2nd best defender each and every week, Parker and Hannebery will get off the leash and excel
Irrespectively, Hannebery will be offered up for trade
Rohan will finally regain his pre injury form
Buddy will win the Coleman in a canter

We'll finish 3rd but be loser in the grandfinal

- Hear commentators woffle all games @ SCG about 30 times every ANZ game
- Mitchell stays injury free and plays for most of the season
- Parker tagged
- Hanners poached by Melb
- Calls for Heeney & Jones to play reach fever point by round 9
- Goodes will not play on a wet track
- Swans will beat Magpies @ SCG.... Eddie McChins is last seen storming into Entertainment quarter car park and joins Harold Holt in Unexplained Mysteries. Swans fans say they looked everywhere really, really hard. Honest.

- We will have 2 players finish in the top 5 in the Brownlow (Likely out of Franklin, Parker, Kennedy, Hannebery, Derickx)
- We will start our season slow again, the media will talk about our demise... again.
- Heeney will play less than 10 games in his first year.
- Like O'Keefe last year, Goodes will not finish the season.
- Jetta will be picked for every game that he is available to be selected (much to the dismay of Sir Swans and swansfan51).

-Buddy to win coleman
- Goodes won't finish the season
- Heeney to play less than 10 games this season
- Jetta will struggle for most of the season but he'll be selected anyway
- B.Jack to be a starting 22 player by the end of the season

Leave him at HB imo.

With finally a full pre season IF he gets his tank up he could rotate of the wing also much like Mal ( did ) and McVeigh/Shaw do
I hope so too, but I can see him being moved forward at times

Franklin with knee problems forces us to find other (better) avenues forward
Reid has a spell in 2s but comes back solid in defence
Cunningham becomes elite run with player
Lloyd to fade in and out
Heeney plays 2 games. One good one and one very ordinary
Mitchell does an ankle after 3 rounds
Ted to surprise us all
Pyke great start to the season
Tippet plays all but 2 games
Macca takes AA honours in Mal's role
Shaw to shut up his detractors
Rohan becomes odd man out, is he forward or back ?
Jetta finally works out what position they want him to play
Jack moves forward and does serious damage
Hanners learns to kick on his left (yes, I know)
Parker excels in small(ish) forward/midfield role
Kennedy is Kennedy
Mitch Morton does not play
McGlynn faces crisis of confidence after inexplicable poor showing in the GF. Rallies late in the year.
Grundy wins AA wrestling gorilla forwards
Jones plays 3 games and cops a whopping injury
Towers comes in for a 4 goal game then fades out
BJ makes a cameo or two
Bedders wrestles with Kenny
After struggling past Port The Swans enter GF against a reborn Cats who obliterated Hawks in the prelim (won't spoil the game by telling you the outcome)
