I think you need to apply for the list managers job. I like this, please make it happen. What do ppl think of this trade :
Trade 1
Port : Out - Hartlett | In - Pick 13 (Crows)
Crows : Out - Pick 13 | In - Gibbs
Carlton : Out - Gibbs | In - Hartlett
Trade 2
Port : Out - Pick 9 & Lobbe | In - Picks 15 (GWS), 16 (GWS) & Barrett
GWS : Out - Picks 15, 16 & Barrett | In - Pick 9 & Lobbe
____
Port in : Picks 13, 14 & 15 & Barrett
Port Out : Pick 9, Hartlett & Lobbe
What about
Gibbs - Crows
Hartlett - Carlton
Pick 13 - Port
throw a few other picks around and all are happy
I don't want that smug sniping campaigner Gibbs at Alberton. It'd be like waking up next to Kelly O'Dwyer or Sophie Mirrabella.Would not trade HH for Gibbs unless there are big personality/leadership conflicts going on that we're not aware of.

My boldGibbs at Port would be good just to watch his Dad have kittens.. no chance in hell & no chance we'll be helping the Crers get a deal done either in reality.
That's a ridiculous trade

Somehow the 'dangers wife wears the pants', 'Soft wanting to be with family' type talk from last trade period as Dangerfield and wife moved back to be close to family won't get a big run if they land Gibbs.![]()
Menzel kicks the goal? He's an SANFL player.

Hes not a free agent he shouldnt be able to choose which club in his home state he wants to play for

He's a human being and he should have the same right to choose his workplace as you or I do.
I hear what your saying but section 92 of the constitution "restraint of trade" says otherwise.Hes not a free agent he shouldnt be able to choose which club in his home state he wants to play for

When push comes to shove clubs roll over or else the whole draft falls apart.

Strangely, you're more likely to get a player with picks 40-50 than 20-30.Interesting... so from pick 20 to 50 is about the same....
When you or I choose our workplace we don't sign a piece of paper holding them to pay us X amount of dollars for X years. You shouldn't be able to agree to one thing that suits you and then just change your mind. But if the player wants to break the contact then he can expect that to only be done under the terms set by the club AND if they agree to him doing so.He's a human being and he should have the same right to choose his workplace as you or I do.

Yep, so like any other company with a number of offices (clubs), if head branch wants him elsewhere and he doesn't want to go he can always go to another company. Of course those (SANFL, WAFL) pay much less, but if lifestyle is paramount that's fully his choice. He's a human being and he should have the same right to choose his workplace as you or I do.
We've been squeezed enough on trades lately. Leave our precious bits left unassaulted.lol why not... offer pick 9 make adelaide trump it
