He'd be a big reason. Also the fact that we are playing well and are playing all of our home games at the SCG are other big factors.

70k+ members between Swans/Giants. That is around 40% of the 9 Sydney NRL clubs total (170k).
In comparison, Storn has 16k, or around 4% of the 9 Melbourne AFL clubs totals (470k).
Crazy numbers.

For a saturated Sydney market with 4 codes vying for $ it's fantastic.

Those numbers for the Swans and GWS include Canberra GWS members and Melbourne Swans/South Melbourne fans, but every club has interstate members but you would think these 2 clubs have more than usual.

Very good effort from the Swans, I would be interested to know how many full season SCG members, because looking at those numbers the SCG must be getting close to a waiting list.

I think we can infer that there's been a drop this year, so 75k is certainly out of the equation.

At a complete guess I'd say we'll end up in the high 60s.

Not updated their membership tally since December.

I would expect a small drop off for them all things considered though. Hawthorn are a serious chance of claiming the "most members" mantle this year.

Last membership numbers I saw released were in March so I'm wondering have their been any numbers released since.

Being a Collingwood supporter I'm expecting a huge drop in our numbers and just want to see if it's just us or is it a trend across all Clubs?
