Assuming we don't draft anyone. :)

We won't a premiership in 2017 or 2018, so the list changes can not be short term.

They have to be thinking 4,5,6 years in advance.

I reckon Lachie is having to take a pay hit to fit McCarthy and Hooker under the cap. He would easy get 750k+ at a desperate Melbourne club. Hawks, Melbourne, North and Richmond would all be fighting for him.
Again... I reckon Hooker and McCarthy will join Freo next season. Neale will get a pay rise considering the cloggers that are out of contract.

As we understand it, Pavlich is warming both the goalsquare and salary cap while waiting for Jesse Hogan to arrive at the end of 2017, with an under the table agreement already good as locked in.

Ironically the only thing that may stop the deal from happening is Freo’s form, which may well be dragged in the wrong direction by the over-baked Pav.

All meh, given it's saying the end of 2017, which is still a while away, but we'd wanna start winning and play good enough next year.

The big question is Mayne for me. We all know he is sporadic in front of the sticks, but if he leaves who are we going to have play as our marking forwards next year? McCarthy and Tabs :drunk:

I thought the main reason for Hogan wanting to come back to WA was to be closer to family and friends? He has to make a decision does he want to cure his homesickness, success and/or money because only Freo can provide the best opportunity to satisfy those desires.

Please no... He'll turn into a 2+ goal a game 3rd tall in a decent forward line and kill us every time we play him.

Lead the club tackle count last year, playing forward and kicking our 3rd highest goals in a team that finished top of the ladder.

Of course teams are circling him.

What are people's thoughts on David Myers?

He has good skills, and could be a handy depth player?
Perth boy so he's probably not hard to get, but he's not that good a player. And that was while on PEDs. I'd want to see his condition after a year out of the game first.
