Still the best thing I've seen on LionsTV.I'm just upset we didn't hurt them more. #GoneSoft
Back in the day Rocky would heat up a travellers pie a bit too high and give it to his teammates. Miss that grit.

I'm putting all this down to reactive attitudes. We can't keep jumping at shadows and being afraid of the simplest thing scaring our draftee back to Victoria. This is just a bunch of young guys being young guys.
Go Lions.
Umm.. pretty sure no one is thinking big picture here LOL, nor am I personally worried about them leaving the club. If I saw the Magpies players do it, I would say the same thing. It just was awkward and odd looking TBH.
I just don't get at what point someone decides that's a great way to greet them as they walk in. Oh well, sometimes people make bad calls but we move on.

I'm not saying people are suggesting this is big picture, more that it's indicative of a notion we've built up that we should do nothing to frighthen our draftees. Perhaps it says a lot more about the subconscious fears of draftees leaving within me rather than other people and I'm transferring that? Clarification Haso ?
Regardless, I think we're making waaaaay too much out of a 15 second incident. Yeah, it's hammy but what happens after? I can guarantee you no player fixated on being sprayed with a water pistol.
Can someone inform me why I should be outraged? Have we re-introduced "The Strempeling" for our new recruits?

I'll have you know this hairline is distinguished.Yeah I agree with Skoob.. Put it in context and look at it holistically. It was an awkward cringeworthy and immature entrance that has "young boys" written all over it. Half the team are still kids and they are just having some fun... lighten up and embrace your receding hairlines you stiffs
Only if list management was so simple as just matching a bid! It's pretty clear on the basis we didn't match the bids for Wagner or Watson.
Gonna say we need another nickname though, when I hear Strawbs I instantly think of Merrett. Not like there's a shortage of berry related nicknames.

Nice little video on the Lions page of the new boys being met at the airport by Mitch Robinson, then meeting the rest of the team later.
Poorly executed and comes across as cringe worthy.
Aside from that, our media and social media department/s really need to get it together.
Compare to GC.

As a side note, and apologies in advance for pulling out my science but according to Stanford strawberries and raspberries aren't actually technically a berry. On the other hand tomatoes and bananas are. Weird hey.
So yeh no shortage. Nanas, kiwis, tomatoe boy, they all work. I believe we can even role with Avocado [emoji6].
These are getting weird now. I'll stop.
