It's about viewing women as a commodity who's value is only measured by their appearance.

It's in poor taste, doesn't need to be a death sentence.
Yet Good looking women and taller men get paid more. Statistically.
It's human nature.
We're banging our heads against the wall thinking this will ever change.
But FFS don't ever say it out loud.

Unfortunately I am neither.

Richmond offered their 2017 1st rounder and Essendon originally offered Fantasia and pick 20 for Hartlett. Seems insane to me. If I were Port I'd be jumping all over either offer and telling Hartlett to GTFO.

Their deluded belief in their ordinary players will keep them in the dark ages for many more years.

It never happened. Just a trade rumour.

Agree.

The fact that he owned up and apologised (actually did an apology not the non-apology of saying sorry if anyone was offended) is okay by me.

Trade radio ( Lloyd/ Schwass) ' Gibbs is worth pick 13 to Adelaide but Rockliff isn't as is too similar to their other mids '
I agree with his point, but I don't reckon pick 13 would be 'way overs', as he said. I'd ask for a sweetener, for sure, but I'd still pay up 13. I'd like to find a way not to, though.

There are plenty of ways not to - what are you prepared to give up?

Realistic ways, I mean - the only players that will be traded, if at all, will be Lyons/CEY/Grigg. Lyons will fetch a pick in the 20's (which could be used if paired with something else). CEY will fetch a late 2nd/early 3rd, Grigg will attract a 3rd/4th. If we get Gibbs, though, I reckon we'll have to part with the Lyons pick in that deal as well as a first.

So the only realistic way is through giving up our first, whilst getting something else along with Rockliff.

That is bollocks. I know plenty of highly paid men and women that do very nicely. Don't fall that stupid media generalisation. People get paid well because they work hard, are smart and are good at what they do.

Sure.

You might conclude that Port are crazy

Or

You might conclude that the fact Port didn't bite their hand off means that these offers weren't real?

And if we loose all of those players we will have lost all of our depth. Need to have depth. This year we were extremely lucky with injuries

50-50 bet I would have thought. Hard to say how realistic any Club is at the trade table.

Yes but that is not a satisfying answer for someone who does not do nicely

It's can't be their fault so something else must be up

Agree.
As a side note I was always uncomfortable walking past the hill at AO at the cricket with the number games.
Our strategy was to wait til late arvo as we scored 9's and 10's :)

I dont know about the short/tall stats, but that last sentence is just utter fantasy.
