i've actually got too many donuts now. Cox, Grimely and Dunkley. Hopefully one or two of them are picked this week. I need to keep making money.

Fingers crossed for Dunk getting a recall

In 2009 my team was set. Then just before the sunday game I go and check my team only to find that 7 or so of my rookies had changed.

And this was before rolling lockout. So I couldn't of been hacked, it was just a glitch. Wasted about 6 trades just fixing it up (this was when we only had 20 trades..)

I was furious.

When I was younger, to play fantasy sports you had to call up the West Australian to select your team. Each player has a designated serial number.

I wanted Chris Grant, but accidentally keyed in Simon Minton-Connell. He was a spud, although Grant wasn't a whole lot better...

Moral of the story, I've been doing fantasy sports for 20 years and am still shit.

In 2012. Made it to the league grand final.

Had Brian Lake as my final player Sunday afternoon. Needed 8 points from him in the final quarter to win the league.

Scores 7. Drawn Grand Final. Lose as I was a lower position on the ladder at the end of the rounds.

BRIAN LAKE!!!

In 2014 I had a few good early weeks and was coming up the ranks, I had the money to make 1 crucial double upgrade, I had the money to do Dahlhaus and R Gray or Dahlhaus and Breust (I wanted Dahl as I thought he was breaking out), so naturally I pick Dahlhaus and Breust that week, they both score well and I fly up to like 250th or so.

Breust averages 85, Gray 111 for the year

End of the year I come 201st after spending over 2 months in the top 100 but couldn't sustain it and Breust ends up as my spud F7 and I never was able to afford Gray again

I once traded in Josh Drummond he got injured early in the match with zero stats but had a spoil so he scored 1 point. Im also pretty sure back then a zero by playing player could have been covered by a emergency, but his one point prevented it.

I traded in Jack Grimes he did his ankle first 10 mins of the game and was out for the year. Had to trade him out the next week.

Last year I traded in James Kelly he did his knee early in the first, had to trade him out the next week.

In 2014 I traded in Stevie J after his bye for 620k and averaging 125. Enter Ryan Crowley who holds him to 50 and annoys him so much that Stevie J gets suspended for the softest headbutt in history. Stevie J cames back for 3 games averaging about 60-70 gets suspended/injured for another week and I rage trade him for about 100k less.

Last year I traded Touk ****face Miller to NVB after round 2 as Miller averaged about 30 and NVB was about 80. Whole bunch of GC players go down with injury and Miller gets moved to the midfield. NVB struggles to score over 50 again for the year meanwhile Miller starts averaging over 80 and scores several tons.

Last year I put the c on JPK for 58 followed by Sloane with a 60

This year my preseason f3 was Z Merrett but changed him to Tobey Greene for bye planning, got cold feet on him then was tossing up between A Hall and Sam Gray for a few days and then choosing Sam Gray. Sam Gray gets 37 possies in rnd 1 for only 99 points which is disappointing but still good signs. For some reason Hinkley decides Gray is no longer a midfielder puts him back to the forward line and has average 50-60 since then and will have lost 90k in value after this week. Meanwhile Hall and Merrett continue to burn me savagely.

Spent about 10 trades last year on the whole Sloane, Rockliff, Ablett roundabout. Went into the finals with zero trades and about 6-7 donuts. Swore I wouldn't do it again. Starting team 2016 and Rockliff sets the ball rolling again:rolleyes:

Another hand up for this piece of genius trading:oops:
Although I didn't complete the Daily Double by trading Cripps out thankfully

In 2014 I had a great start to the season getting into the top 300s overall after round 8. I then traded in Montagna who had been scoring heavily and made him my round 9 captain. He copped an injury and scored just 48 while most people's captain, Gazza, scored a season high 184. Plummeted right down the rankings. Season over!
