Now, now..he didn't say that at all. The point I think He meant that at all.You don't think Hopper Steele and Lobb have talent?
Hmmmmmm.
I just can't leave his character aside. We don't need his sort. At all. We lose more than we are likely to gain.Jist debating with a main board poster inisting we would want to trade Marchbank, WHE, Tomlinson and Steele for Dustin Martin. Am I missing something? Leaving the dubiois character and the price issues aside, the effect would be to push Hopper and Kennedy out as they couldn't get opportunities
Fair enough, I actually agree just curious.I just can't leave his character aside. We don't need his sort. At all. We lose more than we are likely to gain.
If Danger wanted to play for us? Absolutely. If Hopper and Kennedy are impacted...that is footy. We gain more than we are likely to lose.

I would take that and run if i were GWS. Walters is a quality small forward. The only position you aren't stocked with. It would complete your team.Pickett and McCarthy for a small forward?? No way would I do that deal.
Interesting that WA posters all seem to want Pickett as a small forward? Every eagles or Freo fan seems to know of him. Dont actually know his history bit assume he played his junior footy in WA.I would take that and run if i were GWS. Walters is a quality small forward. The only position you aren't stocked with. Why is a small forward worse than a midfielder or backman? Our highest paid players are KPP's followed by small forwards
I don't know anything about Pickett but i know he isn't in your best and McCarthy hasn't played in a year for an elite small forward sounds good to me.Interesting that WA posters all seem to want Pickett as a small forward? Fair enough he's close though, emergency earlier this year before injury. McCarthy gone to Freo, Pickett actually drafted from South Freo in WAFL, looked it up. I'm thinkin no as Pickett may turn out to be better. Up to him though, I would think. Odds shorten dramatically if he wants to go.I don't know anything about Pickett but i know he isn't in your best and McCarthy hasn't played in a year for an elite small forward sounds good to me.

I agree - for all those reasons I wouldn't want GWS to take Martin. He's a very good player, but happy for him to stay at Richmond and help them out of the mire. The 4-for-1 I don't like, although it's probably acceptable given our circumstance, but the consequential losses would be terrible for us in the long run.Just debating with a main board poster inisting we would want to trade Marchbank, WHE, Tomlinson and Steele for Dustin Martin. I wonder if we would entertain a deal with McCarthy and perhaps Pickett for Walters and maybe a lower pick?? An A grader for 2 potential a graders but both with clouds. Fits their rebuild model and our window model.
McCarthy is certainly gone, but I just don't see that Walters comes into any equation for trade from either his or Freo's perspectives. He would be an upgrade on Dev Smith's goalscoring, although statistically Toby Greene's doing a better job this year - but to the eye you'd take Walters as more silky.I would take that and run if i were GWS. With list numbers and cap room tight, I'd agree. Still think we are a solid KPD support to Davis short of a good team.Cap room is a thing. Elite players aren't cheap. I'd rather struggle with our current setup and hire another defender.
But god damn I'd love to be out on the froffies with him and Tobes at the same time.We didn't want Martin even after he toured our facilities. Why would we want him now? He isn't the sort we want around our boys
We need a mature replacement as well though... Those guys we are losing are all in their 3rd to 6th year next year.If we do lose all of Stewart, marchbank, Tomlinson and McCarthy this offseason then I wouldn't mind luring Logan Austin back home. Local boy that was part of the academy for years so could easily play the homesickness card for him. Shouldn't cost much and has a few preseasons under his belt already. Add him to sproule, macreadie and potentially Marshall depending on how draft night goes and we have already replaced our depth.
I wouldn't mind a mature KPD for insurance purposes but we still have corr, Davis, Haynes, finlayson, himmelberg and Mohr who all have had a few preseasons that will be first cabs of the ranks. Austin would be a good replacement for marchbankWe need a mature replacement as well though... Those guys we are losing are all in their 3rd to 6th year next year.
I think they are all good players, but none are really qualified to play on the big key forwards (barring Davis of course - but he always misses at least 4 games a year). Mohr can but he's coming off two recos and hamstring complications.I wouldn't mind a mature KPD for insurance purposes but we still have corr, Davis, Haynes, finlayson, himmelberg and Mohr who all have had a few preseasons that will be first cabs of the ranks. Also we have Cameron, Patton, lobb and himmelberg that can play up front.

Are either of the brown brothers FA?If Collingwood admit that they arent a finals side and need to rebuild, Id like us to trade for Frost or Brown.
If you buy a membership for us you get to support our seniors for GWS as well as our ressies for CarltonHey lads,
What would you guys expect in return for this year's foursome - Marchbank, Tomlinson, Hoskin, Stewart?
I don't believe Steele is gettable for us. Cheers!
FYI there's a trade hypotheticals thread that I think you're looking for.Hey lads,

That's why it makes sense for u to trade Breust. He makes more sense than Walters for us in my opinionI would take that and run if i were GWS. Walters is a quality small forward. The only position you aren't stocked with. It would complete your team.

We would never trade Bruest. It would take massive overs for Hawthorn to even think about it!! You'd have to give up a quality mid. That's why it makes sense for u to trade Breust. He makes more sense than Walters for us in my opinion
I liked the idea of a first round pick and Jake Barrett, assuming he wanted to go. Get you may not agree. We would never trade Bruest. It would take massive overs for Hawthorn to even think about it!! You'd have to give up a quality mid.
