we'd be wanting a midfielder if we did trade him as we'd just keep him if we wanted a forward in return.
Why would you want to swap the cousins?
The whole idea of such a trade would be to bring Bruest back home to his family.

I don't know that Marshall is. I get a very Sam Day vibe around him - a lot of hype about a cross-code convert who's very athletic but only pops up in spurts. Could be anything but probably won't be. Brodie would be my best guess, or McCluggage.
Don't completely disagree but with all of Stewart, Tomlinson, McCarthy likely out the door we are light on with key fwd depth and if Marshall is in the clubs eyes the best key fwd in the draft I can see the club looking at ways of getting him on our list.
Been watching him very closely and he's better mate.
He is very skinny which a few years in the gym will fix but he just has great goal sense, is deceptively agile and has sticky hands.
I didn't want to love him because it's still unlikely we get him but can't help it. He is a stand out and has immense upside.

Problem is not many have Marshall in the ball park for pick 1. If we overpay for another kid who walks after 2 years heads certainly need to roll. Should of done this last year if they were gonna do it.

When Nick Hayes was drafted at pick 7 I had a big cry and asked for SOS's head.
For the next 18 months I whined, bitched, and moaned at this "terrible mistake".
In all the time since I have been scraping egg off my face and marvelling at what an absolute gun he is.
Fair to say for his talent, consistency, and loyalty he is now my favourite player.
Approaching the club to re-sign just sealed it...none of this leeching every last dollar, just be a leader, have success, and still be very well paid.
I look forward to this bloke continuing to prove what a clueless flog I was to ever doubt him!!

I wrote Lobb off after two games.
I've been giving Will Setterfield a pasting after watching about 5 junior games! No doubt a future Brownlow Medalist in the making
I could stop the Southern Aurora!
