Where have u gotten stringer wants out?

Heard a whisper her a Beveridge had a blue resulting in his being dropped to the VFL. Not happy with his attack on the contest and defensive efforts, he wants to play midfield but is being directed to play purely up forward.

Not solid enough to really run with, but it's fun to speculate :P

Saw that as well and was thinking how ironic it was... Duckwood complaining about someone ducking while being tackled by himself!

Life imitating art:p

We won't be drafting Ainsworth, Sin.

Our pick 4/5 will be traded for 2 x first rounders, O'Meara, Prestia, Billy Longer, 9 GWS players, Andrew Walker's hat, next year's 2nd rounder from North and a handshake agreement to get three extra high 2018 picks to use on Ben Silvagni...

If we trade the hat I'll be furious.

Heard the same story.

not keen on stringer. overrated

He's only overrated by Brian Taylor who loses his shit every time Stringer gets within 100m of the ball.

Stringer hasn't had a great year but he's a superb footballer and every club would love to have him.

That wouldn't sit well with Jake as he has always had people blowing wind up his arse since he was young and thrives on this attention.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Kruezer won't be at the Bulldogs. Sydney & GWS are heavily into him. He wants to stay at the club but told Silvagni that he would go elsewhere if it was further the club. Delisting or trading Kerridge is probably the dumbest thing I've read on this forum.

Would trade Kruez for Sydney's future pick pass that straight on GWS for the 4 as that's what would appeal to them now not picks for this years draft they have plenty.

Agree.. can you imagine how good it will be when Gibbs becomes our 5th best mid as opposed to the 2nd he is now.
At the moment our mids are obviously;
1. Cripps
2. Gibbs
3. Murphy
4. Curnow
.... then who?

Yeah we need depth.

But as you say, we want to slip them in at the top end, closer to Cripps than say a Kerridge.

Imagine having Cripps, Gibbs, Murphy, Curnow and two to three kids as good as like Josh Kelly, Darcy Parish, Clayton Oliver etc

Hopefully Cuningham can fill one spot, but i'd ideally like two more gun kids this draft.

McGrath and Scrimshaw maybe

We can do both.

Grab Hrovat and Jong to push Graham and Kerridge out of the side, then draft a couple of mids in the first round who'll (hopefully) become the top-end talent we need to take us forward.

As much as you like to simplify this stuff, we can tick multiple boxes via different recruitment avenues.
No i know that, and if we are trading Kreuze Jong and a 2nd may be the go. But Shiek suggested trading Casboult and Kreuzer, we need Cas to get the picks so we can get the secondary first rounder.

If we have two or three firsts im all for brining in the likes of Jong, but I think the two or three firsts should be the focus.

And if the equation is - a couple of depth mids from WBD or a first. And we're sitting at only our first at the time... i'd rather the first.

Draft 'loophole' to remain despite some clubs' concerns

The AFL has made one change to its bidding system that will come into immediate effect this year, with clubs no longer able to access 'hidden picks' during the draft.

It means clubs will only be able to enter the draft with the number of selections that matches the available primary list positions at that time.

And trading with GWS and GC just got a lot harder.

Most definately.
Im hoping within 2 years its;
1)Cripps
2)??
3)??
4)Gibbs
5)Cuningham
6)Murphy
7)Ed Curnow

Hopefully 2 of McGrath, Steele, Venables, Ainsworth, Scrimshaw, Galluci,Clarke..

Now thats some depth..

Exactly.
Imagine if we could somehow get one of SPS, McLuggage or Brodie... now that would be slipping a kid right up the top end.
