We seem to base our trading with GWS on the premise these guys WERE first round picks.

They're either injured or just can't get a game, and they have been in the system for 4 years.

Terrific that SoS has knowledge of these blokes.......but you have to wonder why other clubs don't go the bundle deals.

Whether it's one of our boys, an opposition player or a young bloke at local level. They work their guts out to be their best and in one horrible, stuffed up, heartbreaking second, they're not only out of footy for a year, but they endure lonely, arduous and sometimes painful months of rehab.
I absolutely HATE hearing a bloke has done an ACL. I wish the kid all the best and a speedy recovery...

You would see it at local level too. Every time someone I play with does one I am shattered for them. Flips their whole life on their head. Esspecially if they are a tradie. You just hope they have income protection, or at least a good boss who will put them on light duties etc....

Maybe because in 2015 there were very few clubs that could score 4 first rounders and a bundle of 4 and fit them in along with 8 other new players?

Please Carlton do not get Pickett from GWS. Look at his inside player rating http://www.aflplayerratings.com.au/Ratings/Player/118437/Jarrod-PICKETT can't even get 20 touches in NEAFL where a lot of Afl players can get 50+ touches. Also the fact they mention he is finding out what it takes to be an Afl footballer scares me.

I know what you are saying but the players being mentioned that we are possibly chasing would get a game in our side ahead of 15-20 players on the list.
If we could get another Plowman out of this trade period I'd be wrapped
