Thoughts on Tom Mitchell being a top 10 midfielder next year?

Averaged 104.47 which made him the 23rd best midfielder. If you take out the game where he started as the sub his average jumps to 108.75 which puts him as the 14th best midfielder.

His last 5 game average was 122.80 which was the 5th best of the midfielders.

Sounds silly to say but is he guaranteed a fulltime spot in the Swans midfield when everyone is fully fit?

Yes he is, and his best football is still at least a couple of years away too.

Would agree with Sidebottom getting off the chain. Their starting midfield would be Greenwood, Pendlebury and either Treloar or Adams.
**** there will be some sick games next year. Cats, Hawks, Freo and Swans all have nutso midfields again.

Anyone know why Prestia didn't get an injury discount?
Did he miss enough games?

And/or he played 8 so still has two in the rotation bank thingy. Maybe he drops like a sack of shit first week back (unlikely) dunno really :D

Who has the best midfield in your opinion?
Pies

Freo
Lions
Cats

Cats

I mean obviously the Cats :D

But seriously, as it stands now probably Freo with Mundy, Fyfe, Neal and HB.
Then
Swans - Hit a few road blocks but very very solid.
Then
Cats - Danger and Selwood probably best midfield duo - but can Ducan, Motlop, Guthrie and Caddy step up?
Then
Pies - Pendles then some space like the Cats a few need to step up.
Finally,
Lions - I think really drop off after Rockwiz and Beams.

Realistically between, Cats, Swans, Freo and Pies there isn't much between them all - an injury here a youngster stepping up there and they are all even IMO.

A champion team always beats a team of champions

A champion team always beats a team of champions

I wouldnt say freos mids are all champions

In fact fyfe is the only champion there, rest are very good but certainly not champions

Lions..rocky and beams both elite

Swans jpk and halleberry only elite

Parker my M5 atm

Just love him
yer i brought him in today for priddis to see what i could do with the change.
sharing points with jpk, hanners and mitchell week in week, he really earns each and every point the hard way.
Love him, hard as nails the boy

Bontempelli, Libba, Macrae, Wallis, Dahlhaus. Obviously not the best but you won't find a better young midfield than that.

I think Sydney's is still the best on paper. JPK is the fourth best mid in the comp behind Ablett, Fyfe and Danger imo. Then throw in Hanners, Parker, Jack, Mitchell. Bats real deep.

Agree Dogs have a pretty good midfield it will be interesting to see where it goes. I mean on paper Carlton also have a good midfield but they don't it's crap. I don't really rate Dahlhaus that highly but the others are guns. Especially that core of The Bont, Libba and Wallis. Hopefully, Libba doesn't take to long to recover.

I'll be keeping eye on Sloane over the preseason.Huge fan of the way he plays prob first tagged now.
I love the kid but he always breaks my heart or his cheek - he's the only Crow worth tagging at this stage. Crouch won't hit his straps for a while yet.

Priddis, Shuey, Gaff, Redden, Yeo, Naitanui, Sheed, Jetta and Masten/Lecras rotating through.

Priddis and Gaff the only elite, Shuey and Nic not far off, the rest go alright too.

Gaff is not elite yet imo

Nice work krk, as always :thumbsu:

Nice to see Collingwood up high on something.

Any North supporters want to comment on Dummont (247k)?
He was the sub in 5 of his 8 games so his is quite underpriced on what he can score. In his three full games he got an 84, 74, 73 or an average of 77pts which would price him around 415k.

You would think another preseason in if he could maintain around the 80pts mark you would be laughing.

Is he likely to be best 22 though?
