Although the match is not yet over the AFL has already announced an investigation into the GWS win over Hawthorn in what has been labelled a major controversy and a blight on AFL football. According to Damien Barrett, Hawthorn have lodged a major complaint into the standard of umpiring in the match stating that playing without the usual umpire bias puts the Hawks players at a major disadvantage and questions have been raised by the Hawks on whether the AFL are serious about gifting them the premiership again this year. As far as the Hawks were concerned, they were always under the assumption they could blood young players and be gifted wins over the opposition like the result of the St Kilda and Adelaide games.

Not yet, they're reaching the stage where they're becoming dominant at home, but they will need to be able to play like this outside of NSW. Will take another year or two, but they're definitely trending in the right direction for success.

all 5 of them have truly suffered, their dilution o the comps talent has done wonders. So far all they've done for the game is beat hawks

But it was never tied into the deal so it shouldn't be a problem. Make it rainLOL, According to the latest news the Chinese consortium trying to purchase the Kidman land have spat the dummy and pulled out of the deal altogether.
It'll be very interesting to see if Port's gob-smackerlasts more than the initial 3 years in China. I'm thinking not.
