Peter Daicos, no question for me.
If available, which I doubt he will be....
Could we get Boomer?

I just think that it's a harsh way to announce it. 3 club greats and they get a "we're de-listing them" announcement? Surely Firrito and Petrie deserved to announce their own retirements??
And the Harvey decision is baffling considering he could go again.
I don't know why we'd want to but JJ was just in SEN and said that he'd have him at Adelaide. In jest I think. If available, which I doubt he will be....
Could we get Boomer?
Why not? He'd be a free pickup, and is still playing at a high levelWhy? We don't need him.
This is my thoughts, though. Reckon he'll choose to go out on a high.Boomer deserves to be a one club player and retire with a bit left in the tank
Because this week is highly likely to be their last game in MelbourneThis is the weird part, why announce it like this? Why now? Why not let them officially retire?
It makes sense to let the players know to expect now, and hope they perform for what could be there last games in a he final, but that information should be kept inside their club until after the season.
Once again, there is no difference. North are doing this because they have to. They have an aging list. They rolled the dice and went "all in" (apologies for the mixed metaphors) in 2016 - and they've come up well short. Now they have to cut their losses and start preparing for the future. This isn't about doing the best for the club, it's about cutting their losses and moving on - something they need to do.There's a difference between what you need to do (ie bare minimum) and doing what is the best for the club. Adelaide made those decisions back then based on what they needed to do. Let's see if we have learnt why we haven't won a premiership for 18 years.
Like recruiting old players for a delusional tilt at a premiership?North making the tough calls the Crows can never make![]()
Obviously the players didn't want to retire ... And imagine the supporter outrage at not being allowed to send the 4 North Melb players off in what might be their last gameThis is the weird part, why announce it like this? Why now? Why not let them officially retire?

That would be the worst decision the AFC has ever made in the history of football

VB and Mackay. Get it done Nobes!
Bulldogs. Boomer ain't going around and ending being a 1 club player for a club that won't win a flag.Farken hell, Boomer gone... Surely he gets picked up by Gold Coast or similar.
you mean to load up on OLD players?? crows would never do that ...North making the tough calls the Crows can never make![]()
Be interesting to see if Shaw retires.I'd keep Otten as backup until Keath proves himself. Ramsey also.
Ben Hart, Robert Shirley, Jason Torney etc say hiyou mean to load up on OLD players?? crows would never do that ...
plus remember the cull when blight came in? we've done it before and we'd do it again if necessary
A shame for him. He's a beast physically but very unlucky.Be interesting to see if Shaw retires.
“If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.”
It's a shit of a question to ask him.everytime danger is asked whether the crows are a better team without him he just looks so flat.
