Finish low, fix Fyfe, get in Hooker (FA), McCarthy (GWS - trade your second pick and next years first or second), SPS (midfielder) and maybe a few other role players (ruck?) and have a real crack with a better draw in 2017.

I know you could also use one of Jones or Casboult from CFC - but there value rose this week

That's the dream, Hopefully Josh Battle lasts to our first pick (currently pick 1).

McCarthy wants to go home and is pretty keen to get to us. In saying that our first pick should be off limits for any trade not involving 1 Jesse Hogan.

Looking forward to putting my scouting cap on and getting to at least one of the WA games. There first game in on bloody Sunday which clashes with the Eagles game but 2 weeks time if i remember right they play the Allies. Good chance to have a look at some of the NSW and QLD academy talent

Plenty of WA talent as well. I'm really high on Rotham, Strnadica, and Powell-Pepper. It will definitely be interesting to watch the Allies as well. Please share your thoughts.

Love your work TJ Hendricks. Never noticed your phantom draft before but I'll be sure to bookmark it for 2016. You obviously do a lot of research and are understanding of the needs at each club

As for the Eagles hopefully we can snag a quality small forward early in the draft and develop him there. Not as a midfield / forward but just a small forward would be ideal.

A tall forward later in the draft would be ideal also as I'm notsure what plans the club has in place for Matthew Allen (2015 draft) than there are some father son picks to consider later in the draft in Jake Waterman, Zain Sumich and possibly Jordan Matera.

Sumich did not even get close to making the state 18s ni chance , Matera now that might just get a very late selection

Not Hura, struggled to make state 18s , omitted from first two games . His footy had not developed in past year and a bit . Games he got a run in, serviceable at best
