Why has Ainsworth dropped off? From a top 5 pick to barely making the top 20.
Yeah I don't really get it either. I suppose he hasn't impacted as much as some, but I think he'll still be a serious player.

Tricky to do a redraft as few players have really shown thus far (still early days though), but lots have show real signs they'll be quality.

Spp should be nowhere near the top 10. A liability with the ball in his hand. I wouldnt have graham in the top 20 either.

Looking forward to seeing how wrong I get this in 5-10 years time

1. Taranto
2. McGrath
3. McCluggage
4. Stewart
5. Marshall
6. Witherden
7. Fisher
8. Parfitt
9. Florent
10. Bowes
11. Powell-Pepper
12. Setterfield
13. Berry
14. Ainsworth
15. Graham
16. Long
17. Ratugolea
18. Ryan
19. Perryman
20. Simpkin

With apologies to:
Darcy, Petrevski Seton, Hayward, Logue, Venables, Scrimshaw and Williamson.

He is performing at a level which should see him in AA contention this season.
If he does it for 22 rounds and we aren't terrible then he is a good chance. Although Wilson is getting all of our plaudits atm.

We have to perform well else only Fyfe and maybe Sonny are any chance given Neale couldn't get in for doing a Titch before Titch did it in a worse side.

Anyone who's club picked Jarrod Berry would be absolutely singing his praises in this thread. I think Geelong and Brisbane big winners from this draft.
Going forward he will be our most important player from that draft. Lions are the absolute clear winners from this draft. It's not even close. Picked up 3 future AA's for sure IMO.

Parfitt has some real class and is one of the only midfielders in the draft capable of tearing a game apart from the midfield. He has to be in the top 10. Ryan and stewart will get close to AA this year both excellent. SSP i wouldnt have in the top 15.

Darcy and Seton easily on this list. Fisher a little high i reckon. Good list though

McCluggage in a couple of years will be top 2 if not number 1.

Another Lions draftee Cedric Cox has shown some great signs, could be top 20/15 when he develops some more.
Both look good - Cox was on our radar IIRC. There's a bit of JJ about him, will be a gun when developed.

Too early to say who will be the best, but this looks already to have been an excellent draft.

Clubs across the board will be very happy, as it seems that most have picked up some seriously good long term players.

Will be a great one to monitor and look back on a few years down the track. Talent everywhere.

What has happened with SPS to not be rated top 20 - by a Blues fan. Has he not come on as expected?
