Good list but I don’t really see how English could be that high. He’s clearly the worst ruck out of Marshall, Draper and Darcy. He’s a worse KPF than Larkey. He has potential but he currently just isn’t that good imo.

You can add Simpkin, Darcy and Stewart as a best and fairest winners along side Ridley, Ryan and Taranto.

The cream is coming to the top and after 5 years you should start to establish yourself.

Stewart is the undeniable main man from this draft after being plucked from relative obscurity, but isn’t the only club champion or All-Australian in this class. Taranto, Simpkin, Darcy and Ridley are also best-and-fairest winners, while McCluggage has made the All-Australian squad of 40 three-years straight. Ryan was an All-Australian defender in 2020. McGrath’s consistency from the get-go earns him a spot, while Larkey and McInerney are the No.1 key forward and ruckman at their respective clubs. Jack Henry, Shai Bolton, Tim English, Harry Perryman, Jack Graham and Ollie Florent were unlucky.

Agreed, interesting call.
There's plenty of players who would get picked ahead of him.. English, Parfitt, Daicoss and Florent just to name a few off the top of my head.

He does for me because English hasn’t really proven he can be a first ruck. Still think he has a ton of upside though and may even end up a KPP

Rohan Marshall is crazy good. Not sure he has the upside to be a dominant tap ruckman like Draper but has him covered in almost every other area and can legitimately play as KPP. So at the moment it’s clearly Marshall imo.

Haven't seen enough of Draper to comment. English is going to be a ripper though, super clean for a big fella and excellent in the air.

I think he will surpass Darcy in the future.

Luke Ryan is one of 2 that is an All Australian and B&F winner. I have no issue with top 5.

Bolton fell off a cliff in the 2nd half of 2021. But yeah Im taking him over the Big O.

English was so poor in the ruck that the Bulldogs were forced to play Lewis Young as their first ruck late in the year.

English should be rated highly for his KPP talents but as it stands he’s not shown much as ruckman.
