Yep i agree Rockliff can be a very dangerous forward line player would love him playing for Melb and having him and Petracca rotating between midfield and forward.

I've seen Rockcliff around in Benalla, he comes back and visits. Sat in the Gym next to me. Every time I've spoken to him he's been very nice. I even met him the Gym the week after the brisbane game, was still friendly.

Thinking back on it now when i said it in the random chat thread somebody said i should have talked in his ear about coming to the dees while i was on the bike next to him. Who's to say i didn't now? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just looked up the jokerman not sure how it comes up everywhere else but the one i use is call travel. Guess thats why i was confussed just looks normal to me.

My only concern about bringing in Rockliff and Lewis is kids getting disgruntled at playing in the VFL. We need to make sure that all of our young gun mids don't feel like they're being stiffed for game time and seek opportunity elsewhere - imagine if Oliver/Brayshaw/etc. walked out right before the older guys were dropping off/retiring.

It's a careful balancing act.

Also if they do come in, then giving Trengove a year might be a mistake in hindsight. No chance in hell that he gets a game next year.

I don't think Oliver or Brayshaw would be playing seconds even if we get Rocky and Lewis... it'd be blokes like Trenners and ANB who'd be purely depth players. In fact, if we do get Rocky and Lewis, I wouldn't be surprised if ANB sees the writing on the wall and seeks a trade.

Rockliff gets a lot of ball, but isn't very damaging, and has a poor off field attitude. No for me.
Lewis on the other hand will be a fantastic pick up.

Yea, im not overly excited by Rockliff cause he is a bit of fake tough guy, but if its a direct swap for Dunn im not complaining. If we are giving **** all up for him and he lets his football do the talking would be a decent get.

If we do we'd be a chance for top four.

I feel it could set us back, particularly with Tippet and Lewis both being at an awkward age to move to a lower club - we'd have to offer them longer/better contracts.

Tippet is the old for it now, i'd rather invest in Vardy or hell give Dawes another year.

Lewis for a dirt rounder. Give the damn second to Essendon already. And if it appeases Brisbane throw them Dunn and a pick of some sort. Then draft Brayshaw 1, upgrade Smith and rookie Brayshaw 2

Maybe his life outside of football had turned to shit?

If he thinks he can go Either all Brock McLean or Collin Sylvia on us, then I cant wait for eithet Jonesy or Viney to take him down a peg.
