No, that's wrong, he's banning anybody coming from terrorist countries which is something every country in the world should be doing.

How ridiculous. How would you define and identify "terrorist countries"? I would suggest it is impossible to do. Is it just countries that speak Arabic? Is it countries that have a large percentage of muslims (which would basically be most of the world)? Is it countries with some radicalized citizens (which again would rule out pretty much every country)?

No, he said he wanted a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on”. Or are you suggesting he's back-flipped on that?

So Bernie never really had a chance then.
He has a chance, just not with the party that he has been a member of for less than a hot minute. It's no surprise that if you claim you are an independent and act like one for 20+ years but then switch to be a democrat in order to try get something from them that you might not get it...

Bugger all chance, given who he was up against. This is more him against the DNC than against Clinton or the Clinton camp, they probably would've smoothed things over since the end of the primaries, hence his declaration of support for Clinton last month, but it's still not a good look and IMO a badly kept secret. The problem with Sanders was always going to be lack of media exposure when compared to Clinton, the DNC certainly didn't expect him to have done as well as he did because he just joined the Democrats (party loyalty could be a hindrance). At least with the GOP and Trump, he became a registered Republican in 2009 after an 8-year stint as a registered Democrat but some conservative sites hate Trump and still refuse to call him a Republican.

Quite ironic from someone who constantly calls Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" (though her Native American ancestry is disputed and doesn't even know if she does have Native American ancestry, just what she was told as a child) which he did in his previous tweet as well as the judge presiding over the Trump University case as "Mexican" (though he is of Mexican origin, he was born in the USA and has lived there all of his life). There is a reason why he referred to the judge as "Mexican" and it's not really to do with the wall...

It really is a race to the bottom in American politics.

Anchor babies are Mexicans, not Americans.

Trump is already talking about the leaked emails lol these debates are going to be fun

Debating the same Hillary who hasn't held a press conference in just under a year? Are we sure she won't get somebody else to debate The Don due to inequality? Avoiding the issue seems like it would be the liberal thing to do.

The fact that people even have a problem against this with the amount of monthly terrorist attacks worldwide says a lot about the state of their sanity.

False morals don't trump survival and safety, no matter how much politicians and media are paid to suggest otherwise.

And once that vetting process is in place, The Donald will will welcome those migrants from terrorist countries with open arms.... lol.

ps, the US already has the toughest and most stringent screening process in the world. This ain't rocket science.

The big issue with both of them is the non compulsory voting.

Clinton could lose because Sanders supporters stay home (especially after these leaks), while Trump could have issues with 'real' Republicans not voting as well.

A big part of why this campaign will be so negative will be each camp trying to convince those who don't like them to vote for them anyway to prevent the (supposedly worse) alternative getting in.

There is also the not insubstantial point that each of them has a lot of 'issues', meaning there is a lot of mud to be thrown around (even before they start making stuff up).

Sanders should run as an Independent. The email leaks are a disgrace. The DNC are as corrupt as the GOP.

Non preferential voting means that he'd have very little chance, and it would take enough votes off Clinton to pretty much guarantee a Trump win.

That would basically guarantee a Trump Presidency though.

I doubt Sanders would allow that under any circumstances.
