But still a historically significant result and a particularly bad result for the Tories where, in the absence of a serious Labour candidate, they still managed to only finish third.

You'd hope so. The UK is ****ed at the moment. The people running it are scum and the opposition are no different.
Interesting to see what happens here. He several times claimed to have received the 'majority' or even the "thumping majority" of the vote - well, no he didn't, it's called a plurality mate. So the questions from the interviewer regarding those worried about him, that didn't vote for him - should matter.
I'm not sure very socialist policy is the best idea going forward, but here we are folks, Labour has ignored the people they are supposed to represent for too long; the influence of the WP going forward will be worth watching.
