Wrong pride and you know it.
Would love to debate your list..........but I can't.
You could easily add Rowe, JGM and another couple who may yet disappoint.
The trick though will be to turn some failures into winners.
I'm still hopeful on JGM and Rowe will depend upon Knee and needs. There may be 1 or 2 that stay if they can step up but nearly all will be gone. By 2019 season our current kids will start to really step up plus we will have a new group (hopefully as good) and a couple of "big fish".
Jaksch, Boekhorst, Sumner, Kerridge and Lamb are the guys that have the ability to add something and a couple at least should surprise.
Kerridge is contracted so he's in....Lamb would have to accept a significant pay cut to hand on and the rest..........Hail Mary???????

Is Kerridge contracted past 2018?

IMO Jaksch isn't close, Boekhurst is soft and lacks poise, Kerridge and Lamb are goers but are limited and Sumner is the biggest disappointment
Yep, looks about right. Also shows how far we have to go....All off our List by end of 2018.

Up to SOS to replace as many as possible with real quality. Another 12 or so kids and some top end talent and some positional/role players from other clubs.
I'm looking forward to 2019 [emoji6]
Yes and no. If we have a significant win in trading without losing too much then yes.Whatever happens this off season will be the one that goes the longest way to determining the outcome of the Silvagni era.
Every successful club in the past decade has milked some aspect of the AFL system to get an edge on the competition - priority picks and free agency, COLA, father/sons - we should be ruthlessly pursuing an edge of our own, whatever it may be.
Yes, and in the context of what I was saying, pride that is associated with people who refuse to see doctors, ask for help when they need it etc leads to negative outcomes. You know this of course, but are being a pedant due to, ironically, pride.pride

Adam White this morning on RSN radio said he didn't rate our list and said our Rs nominations outside CC are peripheral players and the reason why we've performed in most games is because of our senior players which makes some sense but I wouldn't call Marchbank or Sps as peripheral players, what else would you expect from an Essendon supporter.
Dont even know who that is so...
The quote "Pride comes before the fall" is EXACTLY what that is about. So I guess it's a case of 'my mistake, your fault'...No, I didn't know the context nor the term attributable to people who refuse to see doctors, but you've made up your mind that I did, so that's that.
And we shouldn't ask for a PP either. That is in context.
They are peripheral players because they are still kids and developing but I do agree that we were carried massively by our senior playersAdam White this morning on RSN radio said he didn't rate our list and said our Rs nominations outside CC are peripheral players and the reason why we've performed in most games is because of our senior players which makes some sense but I wouldn't call Marchbank or Sps as peripheral players, what else would you expect from an Essendon supporter.
