Your right what a weapon he's going to be inside 50 if we land Kelly and Hopper or similar to bolster our midfield and Cripps spends more time forward . His marking was awesome on the weekend![]()
Im sure it will improve in time the big thing is he can mark it inside 50 in contested situations thats very valuable to have a midfielder doing that .His kicking for goal though? I felt like I was watching Sticks when he had the yips!!!

As long he improves it to coincide with our entry into finals and pushing further im not fussed about his kicking at goal for nowFully agree re the marking, but I've been waiting for the goalkicking to show improved consistency for the past couple of years, and so far it hasn't. Hopefully we decide to keep Sav on the books after Casboult departs.
Great effort!
I don't see it happening. I think too many clubs involved which means a lot of variables.
I think landing Kelly and Hopper will be a lot simpler especially if they nominate us.
Gibbs should land us #15 + #18
We should then see if we can offload that to the Hawks for their 2018 1st.
Pick #3 + pick #22 for Kelly. They can keep Hopper.
This way we go into 2018 draft with potentially 2 top 7 picks whilst still landing Kelly.
Losing Gibbs should be made up for by gaining Kelly. Losing Cas will be covered by McKay and/or Kerr.
We might take a bit of a hit again in wins but if we head into 2018 draft with 2 top 7, potentially even top 5 picks we will be laughing.
Those 2 beanstalks will go top 5 next year meaning we could end up with 2 of the best mids from next year's draft.
That does 2 things; it bolsters our young midfield and it prevents other clubs from having access to that young talent.
Cripps is a beast and looked great up forward taking a mark. Needs a hell of a lot of work on his goal kicking still.Your right what a weapon he's going to be inside 50 if we land Kelly and Hopper or similar to bolster our midfield and Cripps spends more time forward . Rayner looks like spp a beast of a man, would love him kelly and hopper. And I'm fine with that. If it means we could get Raynor, I'd gladly say adios to Mr Kelly. This guy looks like a goal kicking midfield beast.

It's pick 3 as of this week, last week it was pick 4.
Who knows what pick it will be by Rnd 23.
Does anybody think a lot of our current strength lies with our 2 half back runners in Doc and Simmo. I also think we need to replace Simmo long term. He is almost irreplaceable unfortunately.
I think Williamson is Simmos replacement.
agreed. Zero chance.Don't reckon SOS will part with pick 3...
OK I don't think SOS will part with our 1st pick..It's pick 3 as of this week, last week it was pick 4.

Where does ASOS currently sit when back from injury? Is he still elevated? Is there a spot for him to be re-elevated with Sheehan now playing? I don't think there's room for him at the moment with Weitering (can always go forward again I suppose), M'bank, Jones and Plowman.
Personally I don't think he would just walk back into the side and would have to come through the VFL, but if he plays well enough, where does he go and can he play?
