GWS will lose their first GF, based on what? Would have beaten Sydney last year in the GF if they beat the Dogs, noting they lost players during that home prelim final as well.

They lost just 2 games last year in Victoria.

They are also hit hard by injuries this year. Those players should return in the second half of the season.

The players to come back wouldn't add much chop to what they already have in my opinion

The calibre of their outs is huge. Not counting Deledio at all but Smith, Griffin, Coniglio, Lobb and Haynes make a HUGE difference to that side. Hopper not so much a huge difference but he's still very good.

A lot of my mates and family are Port supporters and I'd rather see them happy rather than 3 flogs in NSW and Andrew Demetriou.

It is inevitable the Giants will win flags but we won't hear much about it down here. Port have so many insufferable media personalities that you'd need to move away. I'm sure their fans would say the same about us.

This whole 'SA teams above all else' is bollocks.

Evidence of this was when that campaigner Dangerfield played his first traitor game back at AO last year.

I thought I wanted the Power to win. Nope I was wrong, I was so wrong, I wanted Geelong to win, even Dangerfield kicking the winner at AO wouldnt have bothered me.

Even if its a Power v Geelong GF, I would rather Geelong win and Danger the Norm Smith than Port winning it.

I was at a pub in Sydney. They couldnt realise why I wouldnt want a SA team to win it back in 2004.

I just hate the idea of a manufactured marketing exercise being helped to a flag. Watching your rivals win flags is part and parcel of sport. Makes it fun. But watching a brand new team being given huge advantages and win is not, and should never be, part of sport.
