As much as I think I'd boo Hird. Imagine Adelaide in the GF and we win, Sloane goes up to accept. How could we boo, firstly we'd be too happy because who gives a f we just won the premiership secondly we don't want it to seem like we are booing Sloane. And if we lose we'd be too sad. I'm partly stealing this from Mark Bickley who said this tonight but I did think something similar before.

I would feel sorry for who gets the medal - given to you by someone who looked for the easy option of cheating

The AFL are big enough to control the media, who will never bite the hand that feeds them.

The media aren't independent and will never ever ask the hard questions and will tow the AFL line. The only way we'll ever see an objective assessment in the media is on ABC 4 corners or similar who have had their budget so slashed that all they can do is Re-runs of stories done by BBC panorama.

Money talks. Money is king.

But they underestimate that some people are actually capable of independent thinking and don't accept the rubbish fed to them by commercial media. Essendon are a disgrace and should have been kicked out of the competition. The players should have received life bans. Where's the condemnation from the AFL regarding what Essendon and what the players did? Where was the AFL statement against PEDS? Crickets. Too much cash at play.

They can't be trusted to police themselves.

Desperate for us not to win it. They can sell GWS winning, they had so many first round draft picks, what could they do to stop them? Nothing to sell other than the Crows were the best team if we win.
