I don't know why anyone would get fox for footy when $5 a week gets you premium AFL. Don't know what you guys are using but casting to my tv from my phone upscales pretty well and I'll be stuffed if I'll give Foxtel a cent if I don't have to.

I've found screen mirroring to be very laggy through AFL live app.
Gave up on a few occasions last season and watched in the ipad

I'm one of the many people who used to have Foxtel but got rid of it. Used to like the documentaries, but later it became an endless stream of 'why aliens built the pyramids', 'let's dig for gold in Alaska', 'let's move furniture in Alaska', 'selling old used shit', 'why this snotty hanky is in a museum' et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Not good value for money.

Considering Foxtel/Austar whatever have been around for over 20 years and they are having to drop their price to keep market share I think the horse has already pissed off out the gate.

I expect a look at what's happening in the US might shed light on where this might be heading.

I like Sanders , makes good chicken (not really) and makes good sense (really). Sometimes disagree, but he's one of my favourites on here. Speaking of favourites, where is King Elvis , Poland?

Peter J is clearly military and likely out of the country. I have a brother and a couple mates in a similar game, PJ and also Roo Lives Again speak similarly economically. Not sure about KE though, although he does often go quiet in the off-season.

I had a HTC phone before that I could mirror to my tv with their device and it was similarly shit. If you know someone with a Chromecast it might be worth testing it out

I've never understood why if I can run Toutube and all the other video sites and stream and BitTorrent at 1Mb/s, why videos on the AFL
site are so consistently jerky - 1 second of vid at a time, pause for a half second, another second of video...
