I love Kochies threat of taking the game away from GC, good luck finding another team who will give up their home game to go to china.

When it bombs and doesn't happen again next year it will give them a convenient out to say that they couldn't get any other team to go over.

I'm curious, how is this China thing Ports to control?

Doesn't the AFL do the programming? Won't the AFL decide which opponent Port play, not Port? And given the AFL own the Gold Coast, why wouldn't the AFL want their child benfiting from this? And one last question, if the AFL really wants this to be a success, they will want the team that the Chinese know and can relate to playing.

I thought I was finished but one more, Kochie when asked if there will be another game next year said "there has to be, there just has to be" basically it's not your call Subrise presenter.

It is completely reasonable and rational to despise Kochie. He is an irredeemable man in many facets.

Kochie wouldn't be making threats if it actually was in the contract for them to wear their away strip.

I posted this in the bey, but what I suspect is that Port have the home team strip rights and GC have the away team strip rights, and as far as I understand the home team can't dictate what the away team wears, that's up to the AFL.

And the AFL will see $$$ at the prospect of GC playing in Chinese colors.

Perhaps a little less table tennis and a little more due diligence on contracts.

Your right, my empathy is reseved for the hundreds of thousands of people who have none of the privelage, family support, copious amounts of money and whatever else he enjoys (example - the amount of chances he gets to **** up compared to the average joe or betty who are mentallly ill, and the types of help and rehab he can get to because he is famous). So no I think i will skip Hackett and Cousins and the like, and save my empathy for those i feel need or warrant it. If your empathetic towards him thats cool, but not for me.
