I don't think the SANFL finals is the place for either the Power or Crows reserves teams. The AFL should bring on the full AFL Reserves. They just need to have every list expanded to include the reserves listed players under a Rookie-like system ... make the list 40 AFL listed + 20 Reserves listed. I know it will cost money to travel with 2 teams ... but so what, they can afford it.

Lots of positives would come out of it imo.

SANFL just needs to become a true local comp and stop trying to be something it is not.

It will still be the next level down - like the VFL or WAFL, where local players will get their start and delisted players will try and start again ... but having so many players from an AFL list play in a SANFL Grand Final is ridiculous. The AFL players need to be removed, and I'm not sure how else you do that? You can't exclude Power / AFC reserves just from the SANFL finals, that makes the regular season a complete joke.

Time to bite the bullet.

If I remember correctly, our 2014 team beat them and we didn't even make finals. lol.

They went 4-8 to finish the minor round for god's sake, including wins against Carlton, Gold Coast, and Melbourne. Thoroughly average.

Luckily, I was wearing and Adelaide Crows’ jumper, so blended in seamlessly with the Richmond faithful as the human eye cannot detect a difference.
