Actually we wont. If we are giving away the membership it doesnt count in 2017 figures (off mem it has to have a minimum value of $50)

This does set us up for a good start for 2018 sales however

On a random side note, a few years ago when we hit 70000 and everyone got a free upgrade was extremely smart, upgraded from home and away to general admission, to a reserve seat for the remainder of the season and 3 seasons later i am still there paying probably double what I used to

They must be counting the memberships given out from the promotion. What else could explain the surge in numbers? Will overtake the Hawks at this rate (72,552).

Unless they hadn't been counting for weeks and decided to finally check. Sales seemed to stop for a while. They didn't add sales when they did the promotion a few years ago. Who knows

Hawks are 75k. We were 3k behind them 2 months ago. So we'd at least be on par with their sales. It might not have been a surge. The updates could be sales from last 2 months. The number has hardly changed in a month

It was updated on 12/07 to 70,428 so has increased by 1,963 in 16 days. To put that in perspective the increase was 163 between 26/06 to 12/07 (also 16 days). Membership sales slow as the season draws to the close, so I doubt that the spike in sales is mutually exclusive from the promotion.

Reported on the Hawks web site their membership is 72,552. Where do you get your info from?

Do the hawks have a similar promotion to us going? They have improved a lot and they are still not completely out of finals contention and could very well make finals this year and next year, so I can see how a similar promotion to us could be going at hawthorn.

We've been on par with bombers too. 4.5k gap now as it was a couple of months ago. We were catching last years figure for the first 2 months of the season then all of a sudden our sales seemed to stop. I was expecting us to continue to catch up these last 2 months. I think the last 2 updates are from the last 2 months which hadn't been counted yet
