A minor note, it seems that Schache has told quite a few of our supporters at various stages that he's very happy in Brisbane. I don't think that's atypical behaviour either.

I can remember a poster on this Board saying they spoke to Polec outside the Gabba and he sincerely assured that poster that he loved the Lions and wasn't going anywhere.

Does anyone remember the Des Mask campaign? They handed them out at the gate before the final H&A game that year. Thousands of people wore Des masks in an effort to convince him how much he was loved and treasured by the supporters. From memory, he played a good game and left the field happily waving to the masses who were collectively convinced that........ YESS!!!!!......he's staying!!!

I know exactly what you're saying but it also comes from Nakia's best mate who incidentally moved down from Darwin at the same time. (He's a plumber and iirc his name was either Kurt or Kirk) says he absolutely loves Geelong and won't leave.

Also said Nakia was good at almost every sport but he can't swim. Could easily drown in a bathtub.

Indicated that he could have easily been a professional boxer and can fight like a thrashing machine.

Haha true, but I can say without conviction that he told me what I posted over the Christmas break. It's entirely coincidental that I happen to be a lions supporter and he plays for the lions. Things must have changed and I'm not afraid to be wrong on this matter. I'm not clinging onto an 'insider knowledge' persona on bigfooty, it will be a shame if he left.

I think you may have a few more problems in defence to weed out, even with two Gardners.
