Swallow might be worth a look if only to be a mentor to the young mids. Looks like a shallow draft so any picks after 50 are pretty useless.

OUT

1 Ryan Harwood - Free Agency or Delist
2 Michael Close - Trade for Future 3rd/4th Round Pick
3 Jarrad Jansen - Delist
4 Claye Beams - Delist
5 Josh Clayton - Delist
6 Matt Hammelmann (R) - Delist
7 Matt Eagles (R) - Delist
8 Reuben William (R) - Delist

IN

1 Andrew Swallow
2 Charlie Cameron - Trade Pick #18 to Adelaide
3 Luke Davies-Uniacke - Pick #1
4 Connor Ballenden - Port's 1R Pick
5 Jack Payne - Pick #44
6 Jack Clayton - Rookie Draft
7 best available KPP - Rookie Draft

Not a fan of Swallow, if we were going to go for an older player with some leadership quality I would like it to be for a year then transition into coaching. I would rather someone like Shaun Burgoyne, Kade Simpson, Jarrod McVeigh, David Mundy who are still in reasonably good form, IMO Swallow is cooked.

How much of a goal kicker is Cameron? Heard he gets a lot of 0 and 1 and 2 goals but never 3/4 etc.

Charlie Cameron has kicked 75 goals from 59 games (1.27 per game). This compared with some of the most prolific small forwards in recent years:

Orazio Fantasia has 56 from 39 (1.43)
Jamie Elliot has 124 from 80 (1.55)
Jeff Garlett has 281 from 158 (1.78)
Hayden Ballentyne has 221 from 141 (1.57)
Eddie Betts the champ has 513 from 261 (1.93) but there's only one Eddie.

Not right up there in terms of goal scoring proficiency, but Charlie spends a lot more time in midfield and playing wing compared with the guys above.

It's all good. Cameron will be our pressure small forward, playing second fiddle to our number one scoring small forward due to be drafted next year. Izak Rankine.

I'm a bit concerned that Cameron doesn't get a lot of the ball, and doesn't have huge tackle numbers. Given his physical gifts and playing in the powerful Crows team I'd expect those to be a bit higher. Is there any reason why the Crows don't play him in the midfield more often given their lack of midfield pace? CC DE is a very low 62% as well over his career...

For that to happen we will need to be bottom of the ladder and get pick 1. Really don't want that, yes we have had a lot of signings but we can't just keep being at the foot of the ladder. Hopefully we are 13/14th if l am being optimistic

He's not a high possession player. Breaks lines & uses his speed across half forward a lot.
Without knowing i think his meteres gained stats would look pretty good

Forget these f...in cooked players !!!

Maybe, maybe not. Rankine could just as easily go 4th in the draft.

Last years draft there were no top end KPP's or big inside mids.

This years draft, again no top tier KPP's, with the top prospects being big inside mids.

Next years draft, top tier KPP's, a couple of contested mids, and an x factor small in Rankine. I reckon most teams drafting at the top will prioritise KPP's.

You look at the teams who might be drafting in the bottom 5.

Hawthorn, Fremantle, Carlton, Brisbane and ???. Who will prioritise a mid or small before a KPP?

People need to forget about these bloody cooked and stuffed b and d graders.Havent Bell,Bewick and co.cost enough. We're trying to build a team , not a bloody benevolent institution.

Agree with you on certain players, but Bell, Bewick and the like are not in the same ball park as a player like Burgoyne, can't even compare IMO.

For clarity my first post on this was in a reply to another poster about Swallow, and I agree, I would not want Swallow. I also said "if we go down the path of an experienced player". I don't necessarily want to go down that route.

Cameron averages 343 metres gained. Would be 7th at Brisbane (behind Zorko who leads the comp, rich, mates, cutler, beams, Rockliff) and is 6th at crows.

Would be 12th-15th in avg possessions at both clubs.

2nd at crows for total tackles this year and about 4th on average.
Interesting about tackle count. I thought he only averaged like 3-4 a game throughout his career.

Trade 1 this year for 1 next year?

Not to mention Swallow is the worst kick of a footy I have ever seen for a midfielder at AFL level

The game has gone past swallow, wouldn't add any value to the list. He would be behind Bastinac in the pecking order, which doesn't bode well considering he's had to earn his current place through solid neafl and form

i really like the thought of cameron coming to brisbane, we need a bit of speed and spark up forward. he would be an excellent addition to Brisbane so lets do whatever we can to get it (DONT PAY OVERS FOR HIM THOUGH)

Adelaide will need a spot for gibs next year so shedding cameron would help accommodate gibbs financially. Hawthorne game and the last 3 or 4 games for that matter has shown how much the crows need gibbs or another quality mid to take the pressure off of sloane. Not that I care about the crows, but anything that will help us aquire cameron for the cheapest price I am all for it.:)

Edit: not that money will be a problem now with agreement in, but list spots may have an affect
