Pretty much.
I get that they rate their players and want to be well compensated but it's really not too hard to put the shoe on the other foot and realise what would actually be willing to give up and what we wouldn't.
We aren't going to ship off one of our best two first year draftees from last year for Connor McKenna. Even under the best possible assessment of McKenna's future, it's a break even outcome for us at best. We simply wouldn't do it.
As for our first pick, that's also clearly overs. Their first would need to come back the other way.
If this is true, we'd be using the PSD as leverage to push the actual trade more in our favour.
Particularly when posters on their own board are talking about how he doesn't see AFL as a long term gig, looking to cash in etc. We'd hardly be selling the farm for a kid who might leave after one contract on decent coin.




maybe would be good. I can see even more improvement from all of these in 2018. Its going to be exciting.
