Adelaide desperately trying to salvage something. No positives in keeping a player that doesn't want to be there but drawn a massive unrealistic line that we won't cross and Can't result in a win win situation. Can't see their fans being happy next year when they have a non achieving player that walks out for nix.

It would mean that we didn't fold on Schache, and we have the chance to see how he settles after this drama. It would mean we didn't bring in any players that can't really get a game on another list. And it would mean we get to see how our existing core list of players improves with an extra year under the belt, without any major upheaval.

I'd still trade 18 or 20 for Cameron, but the Crows have now officially lost it in their trade demands, so I'm happy to walk him to the psd next season. When the Vic media sides with Brisbane on a trade "request", you know the trade is unreasonable!

Guy is a moron and it's not because he keeps cameron, cause they are quite entitled to do that. He will be a moron cause he doesn't have the motivation or tenacity to bring in gibbs who privately still wants to come home, but will keep a player that has said publicly he doesn't want to be there.

I feel exactly the same. I don't see Noble jumping at shadows in the last couple of days and sitting firm. The Cameron situation is interesting but is he going to help turnus into a top 8 team next year? You wouldn't think so but in 2019/20 he will so am happy to wait.

Happy for Schache to come back and have another year at the Lions. The absolute garbage that has come out in the media for a second year KPF is dissapointing and having another year in a familiar, supportive environment will assist in his development. Would love Hodge to take him under his wing.

The club has always stated that the draft is their main focus over a 3 year period for which we are currently in year 2 and as it's not a strong draft would be happy to see the club generate some more picks in the top 10 somehow.

It should be an interesting couple of days and frankly will be glad when it's over.

Reid is setting himself up for a mighty shock. If they keep him this year I bet there will be plenty of back slaps and carry on. Cameron will be bitterly disappointed and from all reports may not have a great year (or maybe he will but either way). We’ve officially tabled the PSD threat from next by the looks of the AFL Trade Winds article this morning. If they’re smart they’ll cut their losses, push for 18, call it a win and everyone can move on.

How many young kids in two minds about being in Adelaide sign mid to long term contracts over the next 2-3 years? Great, 1% better chance at winning a flag and setting yourself up for even more retention issues moving forward.
