There's been some dumb trades proposed in the last week or so but that one is the dumbest of the lot.

Just listened to Simmo on 6PR. Sounds almost definite that Lecras will get another year. They said he had some faults but overall did ok this year plus its not a position we are strong with.

He didn't give much away but did say a lot of players had their final interviews after the WAFL finished up. So I'm guessing guys like Hill will already be gone.

Hey, if Le Cras is on minimum wage and plays WAFL as insurance while Rioli and Ryan start Round 1, fine.

If he starts Round 1 then I won't be happy.

I'm just waiting to see what veterans we pick up this off-season so we don't have to go over our quota of 5 or 6 young blokes in the best 22

What about a forward line such as

Venables - Darling - Waterman
Rioli - Kennedy - Lecras

A good injection of youth but still keep Lecras there

He's obviously under pressure to perform but all he's doing is ruining his reputation with supporters.

In a year where he had a very very ordinary patch of form his output is still high.

Unless we're getting Coniglio or Shiel for him, it'd be a mistake to ship him off.

Um dont forget the crap supply our forwards get.

Put Darling in a side with a decent midfield supply and watch out.

Assuming we get a decent midfield together before the end of his career. Fact is we may have to trade him to put together a decent midfield, I probably wouldn't do it for a draft pick or anything but if a trade got us back a genuine A-grade midfielder then I would.

Assuming we get a decent midfield together before the end of his career. Fact is we may have to trade him to put together a decent midfield, I probably wouldn't do it for a draft pick or anything but if a trade got us back a genuine A-grade midfielder then I would.

Trade Gaff get Higgins with pick 8 and either Brayshaw, Clark or O'Brien with 13.

Trade 30 for Fasolo who is a smart half forward.

Back in Venebles and Rioli to add more pace and creativity.

Hartung for 3rd we get for Schofield provides more outside run and pace.

Back Nick Nat and Lycett to improve supply to our mids.

Sheed, Duggan, Nelson and Redden step up.

1 year deal for Lecca as long as he is dropped if his form does fall away again is ok, nothing more than that. If he finds some form, then great.

Hope we give Lamb another year and more opportunity if he doesn't lose the plot in the WAFL and if he wants to stay.

Fasolo has had health problems in the extreme we need to be careful about giving our second round pick away ...he could be a handy player but surely we go to the draft with our second pick
