Fasolo would be a great pick up for your mob especially with key forwards around him, I hope we don't lose him.

Kennedy, Lycett, Darling, Cripps, Fasolo, Gov and Rioli is still a fair forward line and with your defence I can't see it taking long to load up on some midfield talent.

Tom Lamb don't know much about him, what do you guys think about him? what is his best position?

He's linked to you guys but happy to stay if he is guaranteed game time.
bit of a frustrating player that has the talent but not the attitude or work ethic.

Fasolo has had health problems in the extreme we need to be careful about giving our second round pick away ...he could be a handy player but surely we go to the draft with our second pick

Look at our history of success with 2nd round picks used in the draft.

Would rather risk it on a known quantity with issues than waste three years on another Notte, Weedon, Lamb or Karpany.

The last one we traded got us Yeo.

Looka like fasolo heading west
In all honesty whats a fair outcome?
Player or draft pick
Fwiw dont think tom lamb gets this done
Dissapointing from fasolo his a good player

Simpson basically confirmed that Lecras is getting a new deal next year.... so does this mean we will not be going for a fasolo or matera? Not sure if we will with rioli to come in as well

i think we will still go after small forwards. Hill probs gone

Then who do they kick it to?

JK is 31 next year:(

Trade Gaff get Higgins with pick 8 and either Brayshaw, Clark or O'Brien with 13.

Trade 30 for Fasolo who is a smart half forward.

Back in Venebles and Rioli to add more pace and creativity.

Hartung for 3rd we get for Schofield provides more outside run and pace.

Back Nick Nat and Lycett to improve supply to our mids.

Sheed, Duggan, Nelson and Redden step up.
Another wacky Obeanie1 trade ! where do you find the time

Was Fasolo the one who would cry in his car for 1/2 hour before training ?
If so the poor bloke seems to have some issues he needs to sort out .
Coming home to family may be the best thing for him but it is also a massive risk for our club to take him .

Our second round pick is 31, if I'm counting right. That wouldn't be far off. People on both boards would be unhappy. Inb4 the cascade of "we'll take him for a third rounder"...

Don't think we have tradeable players of the same value. You have a midfield, so don't need Masten. Schofield would be of some use to you, but I think we would need to sweeten that deal.

What about Gaff + Pick 13 (or whatever our first pick is) for Saints Pick 7 & 8?

Basically Gaff for Pick 7 and a five pick upgrade.

Would help draft some quality mids.

Over's for him. At his best he's worth it, but he wants to come home and has serious personal and mental health issues.

A trade just to get him home would most likely be done.

This ! We have way bigger issues than than a medium forward . Especially one who has issues . Massive red flag to give up a valuable pick for him
Midfield midfield midfield .
Or if oscar allen slide to our second pick him

Actually was going to post that trade over on the Pick 7 and 8 thread on the trade forum.
IF we were going to move Gaff on that would be a decent outcome.

Next year, JK, Waterman, resting ruck, maybe Vardy depending how tall we want to go. After JK retires we'll either hopefully have a true key position forward in development or we move McGovern forward. Less need for Gov to play back if we manage to improve our midfield as the backline won't be under siege constantly. Darlings a good player to have on your team but he's not an essential player and he's certainly not untouchable if the right deal comes along.

I wouldn't be against Fasolo but he pretty much plays like Lecras - medium type marking forward.
With Lecca, Waterman, Cripps on the list he wouldnt fill a need, what we need are crumbers.
Fas would be good if we get him for cheap though - the idea of trading him in whilst his value (pick wise) is lower is appealing.

Lima Ryan is 184cm and strong over head. He'd be the ideal medium forward for us.
