Yep, would have been decent if used properly as a bullocking inside mid but was never given an opportunity at AFL level to show what he had. Pretty standard for most kids in our reserves it seems. Was used incorrectly on the weekend as a stopping backman as well in the WAFL GF imo.

Adamson didn't kill it for Subi this year as well.

Ones played for 3 AFL coaches and hasn't been seen as good enough by any, and been delisted by the bottom side. And been playing in probably the lowest standard state comp in the country and has average stats in that.

The other has had one coach that plays him clearly out of position when he picks him, and finished 2nd best player in one of the strongest state comps in the country despite playing a heap less games than everyone else.

Talk about a simple choice

Playing in a cow paddock in a rugby state as a depth player , would do wonders for the self confidence ..
I’m not really pushing for Jansen as I don’t know enough about him in Queensland but due to his size and talent as a junior back in WA he may capture a desire to show a big improvement in his footy development.

It should be considered that Redden left this struggling bottom team for more opportunities as well ..

Was watching a few highlights videos of draft prospects and saw Ian Hill's video for the 1st time... We need to do whatever it takes to get him next year. Very quick, agile, great kick, plays with a lot of energy/intensity and never gives up on the ball.

Hunter Clark isn't too bad, good contested player, decent leap, good strength, but seems to be a pretty shocking kick on goal. His video from the u17 all stars game looks a lot better than his 2017 u18 one. Wouldn't be too unhappy if we took Naughton or Allen, but we need to use our 1st pick on a mid. Perhaps only if we can poach another early pick.

Look for the sake of keeping the Jansen discussion going, he at least has similar stats to Ah Chee's at AFL level. Very similar actually.

Ah Chee clearly has that bit of flair whereas Jansen looks like a regular Mark Hutchings vanilla sandwich. Still rather went someone fresh.

Lecras is old and shit, Rioli is fat. Both prone to injuries as well.

I'd like to think we're still hedging our bets again and looking at another genuine small forward from somewhere.

No dearth of small forward talent at our fingertips. Rioli, Liam Ryan, Ah Chee, Tim (more suited to the midfield) Kelly, Higgins (very draftable with our 1st rounder)...
Desperate options include Matera and Motlop.
