do we really need a lecca replacement? Lecca on his day was a good small that played taller than he was. Id rather see us getting some genuine crumbers and having a waterman or lamb playing as midsize tall. Crows have the upper hand in that deal an i rather see us keep a first round pick.

G'day folks. If Gov decides on an eagles future, the only thing we'd want is A grade mids or picks to get them given the premiership window for us seems open and it's our only identifiable weakness.

However, I don't see you giving up shuey or gaff...

I smell a third party getting involved.

Agreed,we dont need to sell the farm for jnr, we need a true kpf and crumbers first.waterman and lamb are no guarantees and jnr is better than them at this stage but he shouldn't be our priority

I am indeed.

Don't know the particular incident you're talking about but I've never seen him not go when it's his turn.

He's an outside mid, and he's pretty slightly built so his ability to actually win contested ball is pretty limited, but he's never looked afraid of contact.

WEST Coast has been confirmed as a suitor for Norm Smith medallist Jason Johanissen.
Club sources and Johannisen’s management have confirmed that the Eagles have registered their interest in the speedy running defender, who is likely to delay a decision until the end of the season.

Manager nominating us early is a good thing, Bumping up his price for the Bulldogs or someone else to pip us.

As you said we want midfielders, pacy crumbing forwards and elite/quality ball users. I don't put JJ in any of those areas.

If he is out of contract surely we hold the cards? I mean if he wants 500-700k surely we can afford that? If Leca Hangs up the boots and we move on Emac ( who is on around 600-800k) . Plus the salary caps goes up a fair bit.

He is a gun BUT he isn't an elite user of the ball, he isn't a midfielder and i don't think he should be high on our priority list
