One of those situations where his value to our club probably outweighs any compensation we would likely receive in a trade. He's handy KPD depth. We'd be lucky to receive a third rounder for him. I would probably prefer the depth unless he wanted to go.

He is actually a good player it's just he is behind mcgovern barrass and mackenzie for that role . It's our strongest area on the ground . He is also the best kick out of them all . Beautiful long accurate kick especially on the switch . He doesn't accumulate much of the ball though , contracted until 2019 but if a trade suited him and the club we would let him go . A very well like player

I actually think there might be a bit of interest in schofield . With 18 teams now the talent is thin out there especially for established talls . A lot of clubs are short on tall defenders . Just look at the mad scramble for lever .

McGovern and Barrass are both way tidier with their disposal than Schofield.

mcgovern butchers the ball all the time . Coach killers ! Barrass is solid but he doesn't kick anywhere near as flat as schoey . Barrass can get under the ball at times when kicking.

Schofield used to routinely turn the ball over all the time with his kicking, there's a reason why he never nailed a position as a rebounding back.

If it's a one year deal for LeCras and he isn't guaranteed a best 22 spot anymore then that's acceptable.

Lecras still has a lot to offer when fit...Issue is his body isn't up to it anymore. He almost needs to play every 2nd week to be managed.

But he never plays for East Perth because Simpson never drops him.
So therefore, we brace ourselves, for 11 "away games" next season where Le Cras is a passenger.

Well hopefully the likes of Rioli and Karpany make it to the point where they can't be ignored also.

Saying drop LeCras is one thing, but having a small forward screaming for selection also needs to be happening.

Things will change but I wont be surprised if Lecca goes okay he has some great skill one on one .
Drafting Ryan or Liam Baker as small forward is enhanced and gives new draftees time if Lecras can play ten games in 2018 .
Maybe surgery may help Lecras for next season ....don't mean surgery to remove Lecca from the Eagles list
