Would go hard for him. He'd make us infinitely better with genuine pace and ball movement, as well as a genuine lock down small defender when required.

I do. Mainly because I don't know what they look like or what number they wear. They're basically the "not Heath Shaw" guys that are shorter than Phil Davis.

Lecras is old and shit, Rioli is fat. Both prone to injuries as well.

I'd like to think we're still hedging our bets again and looking at another genuine small forward from somewhere.

Very rare for clubs in the West to get genuine talent in their prime unless they are homesick locals. Not many if any on the market at the moment unless GWS folds. Now that the concessions for the AFL's pet projects have lapsed, lets get back to the business of identifying and developing talent from the draft, then we can attempt to lure established talent when we are back in a window. The only benefit getting established fringe players into the side it to prevent us tumbling to the bottom of ladder for the next few seasons.

I think that is a massive understatement. One will be a perennial AA candidate, the other will be a Purple Hamish Hartlett.

Wilsons a handy player, but if we're going to be trading to bring talent like that in we also need to be trading players out to get some draft picks back as well. Particularly if the Fasolo, Matera or Ah Chee rumors are also true.

I'm talking Lycett, Schofield, Marsden types.

I know what the two look like given I'm a GWS member. Williams is a superstar, but Wilson would easily make our team far better.

He averaged more meters per game than any eagle both this year and last. That despite not having as many possessions that he could have playing with us, as Williams and Shaw also used a lot of the ball for them. Would instantly be our best ball user (even better than hurn) in terms of penetration and accuracy coming out of the back half so could be the main conduit.

At the right price I'm interested but we shouldn't be enticed into paying overs for him just on talent.

Look at more of a player for player trade with exchange of picks rather than our second rounder.
