Do not want Liam Ryan. A mate was at a WAFL final and I received snapchats showing his family who were stirring shit and ready to jump the fence and smash on with the crowd after he was fairly tackled. Can see why he wasn't drafted scouts aren't exactly stupid.

Probably more to do with the fact he couldn't get a kick in the finals and his work ethic was average. Not a priority for me either but more to do with that he is not that good a player.

Because our club over rates its players and thinks it's players are always better than whats been offered.

Prefer him to Williams tbh, even if he's not quite as dependable.
Wilson is definitely quicker than Williams too.

Is mates with Harley Bennell. Freo seems the likely option

If Duncan is gettable, due to Geelong needing to make room for Ablett, Stringer, Smith and whoever else they're trying to bring onboard, would people do this trade?

Duncan for Schofield and pick 13.

It'd give us the A-grade mid we desperately need, it'd give Geelong a key backman (and local boy) to help replace Lonergan/Mackie and a first-rounder to use to get Stringer.

I would do that deal but Geelong wouldn't I don't think. Duncan is a premium A Grade mid. Can't offer Gaff as they can't afford him. I get the feeling though Ablett is going to be on a small salary and Duncan will stay, more likely to offload Menagola than Duncan.

I just don't think Duncan is realistically on the trade table.
You would have to prefer him over any of the three of your proposed players going to Geelong.

Nathan Wilson is a star. All the young players who want to come home want to go to Freo...even Hogan has said he'd only want to play for the purples ifhecame home. Why do we not attract these sort of players...only the old ones at the end of their career ( Hill, Wellingham, Jetta, ...)????

Hill was 22 when we acquired him and Wellingham was 24.

Jetta was 26 so basically in a wheelchair.

Saw this on Twitter yesterday. Not that I think it's any chance of happening, but it's not a terrible effort compared to most

WC get Duncan, lose Gaff
GC get 8, lose Ablett & 19
Geel get Ablett & 19, lose Duncan
Saints get Gaff, lose 8
