Of course there will be changes at the club, the list change has been spoken about numerous times.

But depth is also important. Do I want to see the hill, ham and Masten in round 1? Not really. But if there is zero pressure coming from the kids beneath then what? We can’t field 19 players.

Lot lies on this trade/draft period, I for one a keen to see where we are.

I’ll save my salt for afterwards if nothing has indeed changed , I see little point in lamenting anything until such time.

Biggie such refreshing pragmatism won't be understood by most here, sensibility and BF are usually polls apart.

Genuinely think he'll play at least half. Could play all. Lost confidence this year but he's not as broken as people think.

He's not the saviour, and he had a horrible run of form this year but I don't think he's as finished as others do.

If this is the case, they need to play him as a true winger and use his main strength of endurance.
He needs to study and work hard in the off season. Learn attacking running patterns, learn to read the game better.

Not be afraid of a sub 20 possession game every now and then for the sake of more dangerous running patterns. work his arse off and wear his opponent down. Hopefully we'd see some of those nice I50 kick he used to do as a result.

At the moment, he's the ultimate seagull. Looking to pad out stats with cheap handballs standing out the back of packs at every opportunity, those little dinky D50 kicks uggggh. - Unless we're looking to slow the pace down during a game, if I was the coach and saw Masten seagull, I'd tear him a new one.

They have just payed through the nose for Rockliff 750k+ , motlop 600k , and going after watts who is contracted on good money .
Getting rid of trengrove , lobby who are there back up talls . A cheap stop gap is big fraze
They have jack shit tall forward/ruck depth and the pick 66 won't get them that .

If the key to winning is pressure, then he needs to reinvent himself to be AFL relevant. His inability to tackle sees him corralling which is not the right pressure.

I thought Arch is worth a 3rd rounder. Using the AFL points system 2 x 3rd rounder is worth a second rounder. All very subjective I know.
