Surely colter situation can be resolved by other means ie bombers cough up another pick. Not like he is a first rounder.

Reckon will get resolved. Our entire list management/recruitment team have basically put their reputations on the line. I like that, rightly or wrongly, they made a plan and are going for it.

Rawlings will be waiting for the phone call. They know what our price is. Its going to be a fun 20 hours for those blokes trying to figure it all out.

In hoping he's had similar conversations with Gold Coast with our 2018 2nd to land another 2nd this year and a 3rd.

There will be other pick swaps in play before COB tomorrow for sure.

Oh we would have been completely screwed without him. He's a forward/ruck but if he has to lead the line in the ruck you're in trouble. Given Nic Nat coming back from a knee just don't think you can risk trading lycett out.
agree but i think it will be interesting to see how things pan out next year i know lycett is capable but will need to prove himself next year vardy had a really good year

Next year the best draft in a decade apparently (someone posted stats on another thread about it on BF) so trading away next years picks is madness, considering we'll probably still be balls deep in a rebuild...

Almost inevitable that Freo will be better than us next year, eh EP? I can't believe that they got away with a re-stump or re-plumb or something and we're gonna be balls deep in a rebuild.

I'm wary of assumptions that you will get a good play in a super draft no matter what. 2001 is always talked up as a super draft but this was the top 20

1. Luke Hodge
2. Luke Ball
3. Chris Judd
4. Graham Polak
5. Xavier Clarke
6. Ashley Sampi
7. David Hale
8. Jimmy Bartel
9. Luke Molan
10. Sam Power
11. Richard Cole
12. Brent Reilly
13. Nick Dal Santo
14. Ashley Watson
15. Barry Brooks
16. Rick Ladson
17. James Kelly
18. Shane Harvey
19. Jason Gram
20. Daniel Elstone

It was the depth of that year that is so well regarded.

As well as the top 3.

Geelong built their dynasty from it.
