Yep, it was a good interview.

The thing about Valente is the in a very strong year for SA junior footy, he was the captain. Not Lukosius, Rankine, Rozee who are all obviously super-talented. Points to him being a strong off-field contributor.

They have done well, but unlikely kids picked in this draft will improve a round 1 team.

Disappointed about missing out on Parker. The limited times I have seen him play he just looks like a footballer. Considering he has never been in an elite program he could well have a lot of upside.

Stack obviously the one I'd want most, but Turner, Woodcock and Greaves also great options.

Obviously there are a lot of AFL-affiliated teams in the VFL which mean there are a lot of fully-professional footballers playing week-in/week-out in that comp.

But if you take the AFL-affiliated players out of it, the results on the board are that WAFL-representative teams are stronger than VFL or SANFL rep teams.

Subi is arguably the 19th ranked club in the country, in terms of sustained performance and off-field strength.
