I think that's an incredibly bold prediction considering France just beat a very good Belgium team.

Im not saying its walk in the park for Croatia im not even saying Croatia win. For them to win I feel thats what they need to do.

All im saying is it wont be a walk in the park for the French like some would suggest.

I honestly didnt have us winning it before the Tournament srarted but always had Croatia in the final 4 with Belgium. I actually had Belgium winning the whole thing.

Argentina, Uruguay and Belgium are very hard tests. Even if you dont rate Argentina who they both beat, Uruguay and Belgium are better than anyone Croatia's faced.

Additionally France also played Denmark in that '' fixed '' game. You could just as easily say France have been more impressive in the knockout rounds and as a whole. They haven't needed extra time x 3 and two penalty shootouts.

If you start comparing results what Croatia did to Argentina etc it's nonsense anyway. France beat Uruguay 2-0., who beat Russia 3-0, who drew 2-2 with Croatia.

I mean they haven't faced the sort of test Croatia's midfield will give them, and there's also the fact that Croatia are obviously playing with chips on their shoulders (see various comments today). The French are probably even easier to get angry at than England, and Croatia will definitely go at them physically. France didn't like it when we did that and they could struggle with it again here.

In general play, the value of having two outstanding central midfielders is so apparent. Raketic and Modric for Croatia, Kante & Pogba for France. So much goes through these guys for both teams. France have the additional x-factor, but Croatia have a guy like Manzukic too who only needs a whiff of chance to hurt the opposition. They need Perisic to have a blinder as well, but the match will be will be dictated by the 4 CM's.
