LOL the average winning margin for round 4 was 53.4

Fair to say there's gonna be a few teams in for a rough wake up call next week after some training drills this round
So much for equalisation - salary caps, drafts, ....

Here is a potentially stupid question but if a side has an entirely small forward line, so lets say their talls have gotten injured the previous week and they don't really have any tall options down there, would a good tactic, and a deliberate tactic, be to instead of bombing the ball long when you can't see a specific option be instead to kick the ball on the ground into the forward 50, so basically a deliberate chaos ball with the idea that a chaos ball going into the forward line would benefit the smaller players over the bigger ones.

Is there a reason why kicking the ball on the ground into the forward 50 would not be a good tactic under some circumstances?

Basically you are asking if Hanners and Jones should deliver the ball into forward 50?

Seriously though I can't see why it would be good. Chaos ball as an option is not a plan. It is hope as a tactic.

I get what you are saying though. Hitting targets and not contests would be the plan....see Richmond as a how to guide.

Richmond still do have a genuine inside 50 Target in Reiwoldt. Besides the Richmond list is different. They have leg speed all over the ground and especially in the front half which makes them deadly at ground level. Martin also helps.

Wouldn't work

You'd need to have the small forwards lead up at the ball, Best way to ensure uncontested marks.

Hahaha. Rance complaining about decisions. Not allowed to ‘use his strength’.
Hilarious.

His strength? Being holding on and scragging

Ordered mine at about 12.15. Was worried though because the website was slow as ****.

Already on it's way aswell so happy about that.
I was online ~ 12:20 and all that was left was XS. I hereby announce to the world I am not a size SM!

Has a good voice for commentary as well, unlike Jonathan Brown and Matthew Gravelich
Jonathan Brown is one of the only ones who knows what's happening on field and not yet strangled to speak the truth. Roo so far so good.

He's also the dickhead who over-reaches on a weekly basis with statements like "this spud is the best forward in the comp" or "this 20 year old should be getting paid $10 million"

etc.
