I’m actually really excited to see what Adrian does this draft. He has nailed the entire ND last year!

… imagine how Carlton would look today without ex-Giants gifts! All those throw away Silvagni picks....
Tom browne suggesting essendon is now heavily into shiel during this off-season as well. All our players apparently gettable by every victorian club regardless of personal statements or contracts.
Even though he is someone I have suggested we consider trading in the past if he wanted out, shiel himself has said he wont be going back to victoria unless the club booted him out. I still think he is a valuable part of the team and no way we would trade a loyal servant for the club who actually wants to stay.
I know victorian clubs are savage, but really they should be respectful of his wishes too if they want him potentially from 2019 and beyond.

Weird that he re-signed on a reduced wage if that was on the cards, unless the word is "after he finishes up" rather than as a player. The bloke I keep hearing as the surprise departure is Tom Scully. Not in 19’ but long term apparently keen to get back to Victoria.
Came from a recruiter so who knows.

Unfortunately not...
Didn’t he leave due to homesickness? I would hate to rip him from the arms of mum and dadOn a minor matter, Tim Bugg is On the outer at the Dees. Possibly a DFA. If we need cheap depth next year I think he might be a good call. At the right price.
I thought it was just a list space squeeze. We didn't see him in our topline guys so were willing to let him walk for better dollars elsewhere.Didn’t he leave due to homesickness? I would hate to rip him from the arms of mum and dad
Unknown. Ckubs never going to trash players told to look elsewhere. My impression is we traded him for a second rounder because he was surplus, and we had a crop coming through the academy.Didn’t he leave due to homesickness? I would hate to rip him from the arms of mum and dad
I wouldn’t mind thatAnother ruckman we might have a shot at could be Darcy Cameron from the Swans (204cm, 100kg, 23 years old). Would be behind Sinclair and Naismith (when he returns next year) for the number 1 ruck spot and they also have Joel Amartey coming through as a rookie. Not only plays as a ruck and can rack up the possessions (been getting high 20s for possessions and in his last match against Canberra had 30 disposals 9 marks 3 tackles 12 clearances 72 hitouts). Gives us more ruck options and might come at a cheaper price than Preuss. Drafted with a 3rd round pick (pick 48) in 2016 and wouldnt say his stocks have risen massively. Contracted till 2019 so Sydney would hold all the aces there.
