Would guess all the planned retirements will be announced in the lead up to this weekend so the players can get a bit of a send off, playing or not.And so it begins, Alex Silvagni's retirement, who else will come off our list this year

Goddard as a DFA too. Play him on a wing/half-forward line
Think we’d get decent value
Graham
O'Shea
Mullett
G-Mac
then a few may well be waiting. Be a few nervous players
That's not funny
1-year contract, play him on a forward flank and leverage his experience.
Hodge looked cooked but has had a decent year in Brisbane - no reason BJ can’t do the same with a change of scenery.
He will mellow
No thanks, we have enough senior bodies/experience
A lot.I just think there is no doubt we will pick him and as a rookie it's very cheap. Kid has ability. I think he has been "hidden" a bit
Very little quality experience. Murphy, Doch, Cripps, Thomas, Simpson, Kreuzer and then a significant drop
BJ would be a very good get
Could make a very good defender. Once he's with the big boys he will lift his intent at the footy, looks to have the skill department covered.I'm not so sure from what I have seen Soapy..
He might be a good player as well.I dunno if you can "hide" a 3rd generation Silvagni. He might be just not that good.
I think we may keep Mullet and move Shaw on, but both could go
Le Bois will be a consideration along with, Phillips and Casboult
Would much rather that forward flank is filled by Fisher, Samo, Cuningham, Dow, Pickett, Lang or just about any of our younger guys.1-year contract, play him on a forward flank and leverage his experience.

Besides, even with our record membership numbers this year, I'm not sure we have the money for that kind of pretzel budget...
Quality, Experience, Leadership are all different
Perhaps adding these names, Ed, Lobbe, Rowe, Wright. That's 10 names in total
Surely you have seen what Goddard has been like, even this year. I doubt the club would want that type of leadership
Tell me how he’s at all quality. He may know his stuff but doesn’t appear to be overly well liked or respected. Could be wrong.Very little quality experience. Murphy, Doch, Cripps, Thomas, Simpson, Kreuzer and then a significant drop

.....then add names like Shiel Dahlhaus McGovern maybe Miles. I count Cripps Docherty Plowman now as leaders and experienced players. In that area I think we are fine
