Dude seriously im not here to argue with you and you are welcome to your opinion
I think enough people here know what i mean and if looking at it without bias i think most would also agree if it was another team that was in that position.
Have a great night

But Jones we already have. May is contracted next year so Suns would drive the hardest bargain. They would want more than both of our 2nd rounders. I suspect that they would want a mid to late 1st plus a good player. On that basis Jones is clearly the better option.Steven May every day of the week for me mate. Though I don't know/ doubt if he is on the radar/ even wants out of the Suns.
If cerra was in this yrs draft where would he go i dont recon he would be top 5

Would take May in a heartbeat, great aggression, great burst and plays both ends of the ground

Somewhat true, but it might matter to them. Considering they are both so passionate about the club, and so competitive, I hope that whoever misses out on the captaincy turns out to be our best vice captain ever. I still think that Carrazzo changed when he was overlooked as captain, although to be fair, there was a lot more going on at the time than just that fact....I could not care less who has the 'C' beside their name. Its completely unimportant.
I like that the club got on the front foot and confidently stood by the rebuild and our progress. I still feel that it was a message to supporters and free agents that, internally, we are confident we are on the right track and don't need any bloody help from anybody...Brisbane and St. Kilda finding some form is dangerous.
Hope we re-think our PP stance.
Sure we did [sic. got rid of players for draft picks]
Henderson (and Yarran and Menzel, both 1st round draft picks who were best 22 in 2015) Bell, Tuohy and Gibbs.
Sure Bell left for family reasons, but I don't think we were too upset as it helped us get Charlie. Gibbs is the only one who wasn't planned for, but we did trade him, and going off last year, it has cost us several wins.
At first glance, I didn't agree with the OP but he's actually got a point. Henderson wanted to be traded, Yarran and Menzel were not best 22 when they were traded. Yarran was in and out of the team and Menzel had no work rate (both didn't make it at their second clubs, and I would argue neither were best 22 when they were traded. Just wasted potential. Bell, Tuohy and Gibbs all requested trades. It coincided with, and perhaps, drove the need for a complete 'reset'. But I'm no longer quite so sure if we deliberately went out to trade out all the talent for draft picks as suggested.
If you read my post, I stated that Yarran and Menzel weren't best 22 when they were traded. I didn't say they weren't pushed out. I did think that Hendo wanted a trade though but accept I could be wrong. His form was up and down and he was criticised for it accordingly. I agree with you about Bell. I think we got a good deal there although I was a fan of his, but he did request the trade home (and fair enough too, given his circumstances with his Dad). I'm also, unashamedly one of those posters who agreed with the Gibbs trade the first time around, as well as the second. I'm not kidding myself about anything though. I have no agenda. I just thought that Tuohy wanted a trade to Geelong. I accept I might be wrong. Why did SOS want him gone though??It was posted on here in May or June of 15 that Hendo, Yarran and Menzel were told they were out.
Bell and Gibbs wanted out for family reasons, I think we were happy enough for the former to go, the latter begrudgingly, but you're kidding yourself if you think Tuohy leaving wasn't 100% SOS.

All that aside, its at the AFL's discretion isn't it?
You still don't get it.
It's 8 years of crap drafting that caused 95% of the problem.
Someone can argue maybe we would have got more for some of our trades - it's max 5% of the problem.
It's a bit like someone suffering terminal cancer dying of pneumonia because their immune system is stuffed from the treatment.
You are blaming the pneumonia - when anyone who has been paying any attention knows that the cancer is what did the real damage.
It is so, so obvious that I wonder why you stay here peddling the same bullshit story.
List management is perpetual. So no.
You are.Your doing this wrong!
I know this is a bit off topic but ...
... in that case, no, it’s not the cancer that did the damage it’s the treatment.
Fix the immune system and you fix not only the pneumonia but the cancer too.
I would have thought every death is caused due to heart stop pumping...?You still don't get it.

We are like mister dumb shit if we don’t apply. Why pass up if good draft?I think so, and I can't imagine the AFL would enforce a PP on a club that didn't request it.
I admire the stance, nonetheless, but feel that the opportunity to acquire another premium draft pick is enticing. Cannot imagine the AFL assisting us in doing so, though.
A moot point now.
