The AFL shouter is always trying to convince people that we have a large number of pet memberships. But he/she/it never seems to mention that the number claimed by the cows last year was nearly 20000 greater than the afl audited figure. Our own figure was greater as well, every club claims more than the final afl figure. But ours was only about 8000 out, methinks the cows may have been counting those free memberships of theirs.

The only substantial numbers we lose in the official AFL audit are our Magpies memberships. Who are still real flesh and blood members who pay up, attend games, and spend at Alberton.

Best thing about that bloke?
Fremantle names a leadership group of 7 - nothing
Gold Coast names a leadership group of 7 - nothing
Carlton names a leadership group of 8 - nothing
etc.

But us? Gets the number wrong, and calls it ridiculous.

A grade thunder campaigner

I heard Rory saying the other day the Crows have a revolutionary 20 man leadership "portfolio" this year!

Extremely unprofessional really. It's the same s**t as the channel 7 guy laughing at ports misfortune one night. Pull your head in from all sides. It's not your personal platform to air your grievances/allegiances.

THAT SAID - did lol.

I am appalled that the tweet is still there for everyone to see!

RICHMOND has roared into 2018 with a record membership and strong reserved seat sales after breaking a 37-year premiership drought. Richmond has already surpassed Collingwood’s previous AFL membership record of 79,347 set in 2014. Today, it had 80,221 members and hopes to top 90,000.
....
Port Adelaide has cut some of its adult match day prices by up to $34.

The Tigger Army awakens.
It's the biggest bandwagon in the history of bandwagons.

Nah, Richmond fans remained pretty loyal throughout the "lost years". Some credit to them.

Hawthorn went from pathetic crowds (11,000 against us in 2004) to smashing membership records by the end of the decade. They are the Bandwagoner world champs.
